You are right. I do not support scam but a case like this was for a purpose to get life for the immediate family.

This must have been someone very close to them that is trying to make sure he brings them down.

Note this in your life time, Secret is the only thing ONLY you knows.Yes, because of the country we have with bad leaders and no one to take care of the common man back home here in Nigeria, people can do things in order to create a life for themselves and their immediate family. Yes, if the man did this, he did it for the sake of his immediate family and whosoever is the whistle blower, you and your own family will NEVER see good.

Go to other countries in the world, in the US, many people do same to make way for their immediate. Here in families. But here in Nigeria, they run you down. You can imagine the way the whistle blower has been following up this with series of letters in other to make sure he brings the so called man and his family down. Too bad.

You have a constitutional duty to report crime as a citizen to protect the social order. This is europe, not your corrupt Nigeria.

Yes but it's a lot easier if the daughter is below 16 yrs of age but as an adult its a tough nut to crack.

So why didn't he bring her over Many years ago? He has been there for over 30 years plus daughter is about thirty he had enough time to do the right thing but he didn't.

So many reasons for that...maybe he got his British passport by marrying somebody here hence avoided mentioning his marriage in Nigeria or he claimed asylum and denied having anybody in Nigeria to go back to. So it will be difficult for him to bring her here in such situation.
