So, just to be clear.

You are now saying that Military Websites are not the final say on the topic? Going back on what you were saying for so long?

Exellent back-tracking

Ok, you want official press release:
http://www.rheinmetall-defence.com/en/media/editor_media/rm_defence/publicrelations/pressemitteilungen/2012_1/2012-09-19_AAD_Rheinmetall_Denel_Munition.pdf

http://www.deagel.com/Projectiles/Assegai-V-LAP_a000925001.aspx

Thanks for making it so easy to prove we have VLAP

ALL those foolish official press releases you posted above are NOT South African army official press releases, those are from private companies, and NOE of them said SANDF purchased any V-LAP shell.

Who are you trying to fool, we Nigerians? You must be joking, Naijas are too smart for any Saffa !

You fvcking serial liar !

Why are you getting so emotional?

You said it was protected against 23mm, implying all round protection against 23mm.

This is false, average protection of the vehicle is only against 7.62

T-55 has 100mm armour, does that imply all round?

Quote where I said BMP-2 has 33mm armour all round it, post it now. Liar !

In early 2008 a Polish Rosomak serving in Afghanistan (the version with upgraded armor) was attacked by Taliban rebels. The vehicle was hit by two RPG-7 rockets, but it managed to fire back and then returned to base without any help required.[4] In June 2008 a Rosomak was attacked by Taliban and was hit in its frontal armor with a RPG. The armour was not penetrated. In 2009 first soldier was reported killed inside Rosomak after IED exploded under vehicle, which rolled over and crushed gunner sitting in the open turret, similar attacks occurred before, but without casualties
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KTO_Rosomak

Poland's Rosomak is NOT = SANDF Badger.

Different name, different manufacturer, different gun, different terrain capability, Rosomak is full amphibious, Badger is dry land only.

Post me a Badger IFV source where RGP was fired on it !

Liar Liar pants on fire, posting Poland's IFV as South Africa's IFV ! You are busted again !!!

So you confirm that the Grip is better than the ATR because it can perform ISTAR and targeting.

Quote where I said that.

What I confirmed is that you are NOT educated enough to know that the TA in ISTAR means Target Acquisition NOT Target Designation.

Nigerian army Scorpion tank is a light tank built to be transported by medium aircraft like NAF C-130.

There is a reason the British made the Scorpion after over 100 years of war experience around the world.

Nigerian Scorpion tanks can be moved in quickly and deployed in hours for emergency to foreign countries as power projection, it gives us a light tank with tracks that can drive over muddy terrain where the whole of SANDF will sink and get stuck with their vehicles of similar size and weight.

The Scorpion light tanks gives Nigerian army aircraft portable all terrain wheeled armoured vehicles with a 90mm cannon that fires anti-tank shells among other types, it is a good weapon for force quick deployment in emergency force projection overseas.

SANDF is a dry land only army built for only homeland defense of around Soweto
.

There is a reason that after the British stopped using them in 1994 - its an obsolete concept

And it has a 76mm gun

RPG penetrated mighty impregnable British Challenger tank. So what? No man made equipment is perfect.

Tell us BMP series have never killed any enemy, only the enemy kills BMP ? Right ?

Drive 50 units of SANDF Ratel IFV into open streets in an insurgency war where terrorists hiding on roof tops among civilians fire RPG from roof tops and windows, I guarantee that ALL and ALL your 50 exposed Ratels will be destroyed by RPG fire, even destroyed by ordinary 14.5mm guns with AP rounds or 23mm ZSU mounted on trucks doing hit and run guerrila street tactics.

Drive any armoured IFV into a disadvantage situation in a killing zone and it will be killed by rag tag rebels.

" Armour

The Ratel is relatively lightly armoured, in order to preserve mobility, weapons space, and range. The vehicle is well-protected against bullets and artillery shell splinters, but is vulnerable to anti-tank guns, automatic cannon such as the Warsaw Pact 23mm AA guns (which were often used in a ground-fire role in Angola), and rocket-propelled grenades. " Source- Wiki

Chally 2 was penetrated by an RPG-29, so not any old RPG

and it was a fluke penetration caused by a hit to the underside of the vehical which caused the reactive armor to detonate.

My frendo, as current kornet is still only integrated from BMP-3 up to later models. Your BMP-2 will not fire Kornet until it will be decommissioned when it tells its life story. I guess, your Nigerian girlfriend is now mine.

It says NAF was fighting the same type of dangerous battlefield close air support that Israeli air force fought and got shot down by the same ZSU-23 AAA.

"The ZSU-23 system was particularly effective against the Israeli Air Force. Israeli pilots attempting to fly low in order to avoid SA-6 missiles were often shot down by ZSU-23-4s.

The ZSU-23-4 outclassed all NATO anti-aircraft guns at the time, and it is still regarded as posing a major threat for low-flying fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. NATO considered the Shilka to be so dangerous that, in time of war, standing orders required NATO pilots to destroy any Shilka observed, even if doing so required the pilot to abandon his mission." Source Wiki.

This fact says to SAAF that Gripens and Hawk jets in @THIZA's photos is NOT real war and attacking sand and stones is a coward pilot's way of avoiding his jet being shot down
.

Yes, in 1973 it was very effective

In 1973

What year is it now?

Grips will by high and dry dropping precision munitions from 30 000 in complete safety

You fvcking serial liar !

Coming from the guy who said:

- South Africa lost 99 Olifant tanks in Angola
- Nigeria has Archer artillery system
- Nigeria has FH77 B05 L52
- New Nigerian OPV's are missile armed
- Nigeria has Tucano's
- Nigeria has the BMP-2
- Old Man Aradu has the Otomat Mk2
- Nigeria has T-80's
- Nigeria has Su-30's
- BMP is protected against 23mm
- Refuses to post info on the ATR-42

And that is just your memorable lies, not including the minor lies you tell on a day to day basis.

And, Denel is owned by the South African government, they produce VLAP, why would the SANDF not have it if they needed it?

Thus, since you have said that SANDF website is not the only source to be considered: Max range of the G5 and G6 is thus well over 50km -confirmed by all sources on the topic.

Its so easy to manipulate you.

Badger is not amphibious because we put more armor on it.

So, the same hull with more armor will surely be better at defeating RPG's than the same hull with less armor. Yes or no?

Or,

The Badger doesnt have more armor than the Rosomak and is thus also amphibious.

Which is it?

Either way, its resistant to RPG's.

Ps: stop getting so emotional

.

It is very difficult to speak military language with people who are not directly involved. ARHLAC will be a crap only when any country procure it for much bigger task than it would do. You cannot procure ARHLAC or scorpion jets to be utilised as heavy duty attack fighters like what Nigeria want to do because of financial constraints. Hope it makes sense.
