I come from the era of Jide Obi, Onyeka Onwenu, Chris Okotie, Felix Lebarty, Evi Edna Ogholi, Majek Fashek, etc. Good music without vulgarity and nudity. The songs put out by artistes today are so revolting it just beats the imagination. How we allowed our society to dump the very fabric of morality we stand for, simply for commercial gain just beats me totally.

u're wrong! If u don't understand most of the stuff he's trying to say in the song it very easy for you to ask or post it online for people that understand every ken and harry of the lyrics to kindly tell u the meaning instead of going this far to seek relevance , olamide that I know doesn't give a poo'" about what ever way u pple twisted the lyrics '

Olamide watchout one of them haters!

Story for the gods.

I am tempted the Man was paid to promote the Music and the Music video.

Let me give a background. To listen to Olamide, Phyno, Wizkid, Davido and you expect spiritual uplifting only shows hypocrisy of the highest order. They sing Lewd and songs with less Moral whatsoever. I have listened to wizkid's line saying (Mon do omo meji, meaning i am sleeping with two ladies at a time). So the arguement is not , DO they sing Morally justified song or not.

It is a wicked lie to attribute story for the gods to rape. It is a lewd song but does not justify any rape. I wish i av more time to analyze the song line by line instead of the summary the CHief Imam is trying to give us.

I just watched the video 5 times again before posting this and damn, i wasted my precious time and MB like some would always say. The claim that the video promotes lesbianism is the most stupid thing i have heard in recent times. Showing girls having fun with guys more like a party and several dance moves can not be in any way linked to lesbianism or said to promote lesbianism in any sane environment.

The lyrics talked about rape, like seriously ? That is another wicked lie twisted just the way 2 lawyers will twist the constitution to Defend and prosecute a victim of the law.

Will i allow my children listen to 'Story for the gods' ? Big NO

Is the VIdeo in any way promoting LEsbianism ? "HELL NO"

Is the song singing about any form of rape ? "HELL NO"

The video interpretes the song and no rape was promoted.

This great article would have been more meaningful if you condemn Boko Haram Killing innocent civilians.

What you wrote is pure lies and can not be translated to rape.
