So you then confirm that SANDF has experience as we have fought not only in more wars than you, but bigger and more advanced ones.

And you yourself admit that it is not individual experience, but institutional experience that is important.

If a soldier does not know how to do his job (because he was not properly trained) why would he suddenly learn his job and be better at his job because he was deployed?

Training is more important than combat, this is a fact that has been known since Roman times.

Nope, the SANDF does not have more experience than the Nigerian army. Neither have you fought in more wars or carried out more operations than the Nigerian Army.

What accounts for institutional experience, if not individual experience....... dummy.

At no point did I say training isn't important, however, Combat experience is the best training an Infantry man can get. This isn't even up for a debate.

The U.S army lost in Vietnam. This is a fact.

First, SANDF fought in large scale operations in WW1 and WW2, flew against advanced fighters in Korea and took part in one of the biggest and most advanced wars in Africa (for 25years) in Angola.

Nigeria has not got a single war like this under its belt.

Institutional experience is experience that is passed on from generation to generation through training

The US Military utterly and completely defeated the NVA and Veit-Cong in South Veitnam. This is a fact.

That pic is old, it was merely used by researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of SAfricas RDP programme which helped to eradicate slums in a short time. A policy which must be adopted by the likes of Nigeria.
