What's the total cost of the kitchen cabinets? They look good, so also the casting around the well.

I love the progress of this project. With adequate funds and manpower (provided by Oga Spyder880), many things are possible.

The agreement with the furniture worker is for every cabinet and wardrobe in the whole flats, it will be difficult to break it down. But I will ask him the estimated unit cost of each later. The casting around the well has been done free, I have boys staying in this house and the owner is not going to pay for this.

I am sorry. Why do you need this if the building is plumbing equipped? Or do you mean to say it's borehole?.

Looking at the picture it looks like those wells used in the village. So tenants have to fetch water outside in this building? Sorry if i misunderstood.

The building is plumbing equipped but this is to serve as an alternative water supply point. We planned to sand fill this well and close it but considering how this well helped us with water supply during this project, we decided to leave it where it is and now raise it above the compound level.

If you understand Enugu and the water scarcity here, you will see the need to keep this alternative just in case. Meanwhile the occupants can use this as water supply for washing up clothes, cars etc while the main water supply will be for domestic uses in the flats.

@Bolded, You are a very considerate guy o. I hope other building and non building contractors are noting this about client-agent relationship.

It looks like the kitchen cabinets will come out well. I like the elevation from the ground to prevent foreign bodies seeking refuge there. I am concerned about the space reserved for the electric cooker. What if i have a bigger gas/electric cooker, will i have to dismantle that section? Is it modular and i can easily move or expand?

Yes, on that electric cooker space, I told them to use the measurements for the smaller cooker because that is what most people renting flats may need. If this were to be the owners personal house, I will make more provision for a bigger cooker.

Oga Spyder, please what is the average measurements for the smaller gas/electric cooker?
And what is the best brand name for gas/electric small cooker you can recommend?
I am looking at Ignis and Scanfrost, but I don't the extent of their quality, just what I saw in online shopping.
I saw a Scanfrost with size of L=50cm W=50cm H=85cm and I thought, this was too small for gas cooker.
Thanks.

Oga Spyder,
Happy new year to you.

The project took less than 1 calendar year from start to finish.

I praise him, and every other property investors, its not easy at all.

Infact quite revealing. Somebody once said, the only reason house completion is delayed is because of money. Rainy season or not should not make much difference.

And I totally agreed... Do or work on the inside while it's raining, outside when it's not raining.. Money is the object of almost everything.

Absolutely on point.

My first order of business is to get my house sealed to the elements. The rest of the stuff can occur at leisure.

Oga spyder with due respect don't you think it's necessary to do conctrete blinding before placing this reinforcement for drainage? I stand to be corrected

Thank you Sir, I asked them to prepare the reinforcement inside the drain for measurements. It is easy to lift out when we are ready to cast the blinding today.
