To me I even think the real change can be seen in PDP, Why?
Ok, notice how almost all the corrupt people from PDP are now running to APC? Consequently,PDP is now almost on a self cleansing process. The corrupt men have used and sucked PDP dry to achieve their corrupt aim, which for selfish reasons are never enough, now they are moving exodus style to perpetuate more evil with a new name(APC).Why are people too blind to see this?

I think it is incumbent on we all to educate and enlighten ourselves before we come forth to public fora to give wrong information.

1) your body movement talk? There was a last minute discussion between then ACN and CPC to go into the 2011 election in a coalition but time constraints and INEC guideline prevented the merger of sort. BUHARI was to run on his CPC ticket but drop pastor Tunde Bakare as running mate while ACN produce the running mate. The coalition talk reached advanced stage with Ribadu compelled to step down and he voluntarily did don't know where your story of sell out came from! Buhari later reneged on the drop Tunde Bakare deal based on his feelings that he had done a lot to convinced him to take the ticket and the influence of some forces he didnt like associating with telling him what to do made him decide to forgo the coalition.

The ACN was in limbo and Ribadu wasn't convinced any more to run hence the ACN had technically withdrew from the race. So that rumour of sell out was figment of imagination of some lousy journalists. Ribadu himself said as much in an interview in 2012. ACN had no agent or monitor at the poll for the presidential election in virtually all states of the federation aside Osun where aregbesola still wanted to show his displeasure to.the last minute withdrawal of Ribadu.

2) APC putting up candidates you don't like? The Presidential nomination form of the APC was open and sold to anyone who wished to enter the race to contest. It is stupidity and lazy thinking to accuse the party of picking its candidate from a particular lot when everybody had a chance to buy the form. It is not APC's fault that Obama and Cameron didn't buy the form, even you had an opportunity to buy the form and contest if you wanted to. The party didn't do like PDP who printed just one presidential nomination form.

The process of candidate selection was open from.sale of forms to presidential primaries. Let use our brains here and stop all these lousy talk.

3) it is a dull reasoning to accuse the party of insecurity when it does not control any arm of the security forces. If what Amaechi said is treasonable to you, then utterances of Doyin okupe, asari Dokubo, Tompolo, ateke Tom, ayodele fayose should made them.be at bar beach now facing firing squad. Be objective and commonsensical in your write up. Amaechi said what ever reasonable opposition would say, when Laurent Gbogbo rigged the CIV election to favour himself amd declared himself winner in an election that every observer knew he lost, if Alhassan Quattara remained mute and docile then I'm sure he would be in prison right now or dead like they killed MKO Abiola for daring to seek a mandate of an election the whole world knew he won.fair and square.

The foremost duty of every responsible government is the security of lives and properties of its citizenry and when such government failed in its duties then.it has no moral justification to remain in power. Why not tell Buhari and Tinubu to lead an expedition to sambisa Forrest to liberate the chibok girls so as to prove to you they are concerned about the insecurity in.Nigeria.

4) political prostitution! I guess you want a party of virgins, born again and devout Muslims, sorry if you understand the dynamics of Politics and political opposition to a ruling party then you would know that every person matters in the game of politics. Politics is about interest and a game of numbers. If anybody wishes to associate with it and is ready to abide by the tenets and manifesto of a political party then he/she should be welcomed. I'm sure you won't say PDP had same set of member since 1999, Ogunlewe, obanikoro, T.A orji, Isa Yuguda, Present governor of Kebbi all defected to.the PDP along the line so.it's political ignorance and stupidity to accuse the APC of defectors to it's folds. Go get educated and informed.

5) APC plans! The manifesto of the party has been well package and put on all media you could lay your hands on, from print, news and social media. The campaign of the party and its frequent jingles on the airwaves should educate you enough. I'm sure you're not expecting odigie-oyegun to come to your house to educate you personally.

Shalom and hoping I've freed you from certain misconception and ignorance.
WOW! Omo see reply shocked very intelligent, simple and on point.. Can't even believe Mind44 wrote that crap up there. Abi barcanista wan hook you up ni? grin

Ladies and Gentlemen. Greatest Nigerian Youths!

"The future of any nation lies in the development of its youth".

Let me start by commending our efforts in trying to salvage our country. It is no news that we believe that our country Nigeria is in bad shape. We all feel it and our leaders have also acknowledge it. My message here is to you out there. I want each and every one of us to be objective and sane in our thoughts. We should know that we are reaping what our fathers have sown for us in the past. Now my question is what are we sowing for the generation that will come after us?

Remember that we may be forgiven for not taking the right action, but history will not forgive us for not taking any action at all. If you feel that Nigeria is okay as it is now, fine please don't crucify others who believe otherwise. And if at the same time, you are one of the people that believe that something is not right with our country, please don't shout down others who think otherwise. We can't see things the same way even from the same prism. There are always two sides to a coin!

Nature abhors homogenuity. That is why there are ups and downs, cold and hot, winter and summer, raining and dry, good and bad, death and birth, givers and takers, valleys and mountains. We can't have it the same ways always. One thing I'm most certain about is that even during the struggle for our country's independence, there were certain people that would have thought that it was an effort in futility. Those who believed in it fought for it and were able to achieve it. So because you are on one side today does not mean you can't be on the other side tomorrow.

My great people, what matters most is our conviction. If your conscience tells you that in all honesty you are doing the right thing, please go on. However, if on the other hand, you are acting contrary to your conscience, kindly find your way back and do what is right. Please my people, enough of name-callings and hatred. Let's leave a worthy legacy for our children. I'm not worry about myself anymore because I've seen to a large extent what the life can offer. But I'm worried about the future of my children who will take over from me. WHAT WILL I TELL THEM WHEN THEY ASK ME WHAT DID I DO TO PROTECT THEIR FUTURE?

This election is not about PDP/APC, GEJ/GMB, South/North, East/West, Christians/Muslims. It's about the Nigerian people holding their leaders to account. Let the people of Nigeria voice out their pleasure and displeasure, and please don't vilify others who don't see it the way you see it.

Fellow Nigerians, whether GEJ wins or loses, GMB wins or loses, what I know and I'm very sure of is that all of us will one way or the other will be held responsible for the choices we will make on the 28th of March this year and live with the consequences for the rest of our lives.

NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN AND I WILL BE A PART OF IT.

PointB:
Gradually the 'Sai Buhari' minions are beginning to ask the right question?

Let me ask them more:

This is campaign season, we have heard severally from the APC VP candidate, whose office and effectiveness is what the president desired it to be - mostly figure head!

What have you heard personally from the one contesting for Presidency? What economic policy has he taken his time to espoused? Or you forget that the man who doesn't promise anything cannot be held accountable?

Flash back to the Yar Adua era. Shortly after Yar Adua won election what did he do? Within a year he's cut off completely from Obj, form his kitchen cabinet and began a systematic reversal of Obj's policiesm, reforms, and programs. What is to say Buhari will not do same?

- Will Buhari continue with rail expansion, linking the state capitals as planned by GEJ?
- Will he continue to maintain federal road as done by GEJ?
- NEPA has been unbundled, sold and fund made available to investors to expand generation. Does Buhari support this of has other plans?
- What will be the fate of Second Niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan express way?
- How will he tackle Boko Haram and potentially militancy in the Delta?
- Will Buhari maintain Nigeria position of not signing EPA in it's present form?
- Will he carry on with the Osibanjo's idea of reducing tariff on imported vehicle therefore reversing the gain of Auto policy? Or he has other idea?
- What will be the fate of Agric reform, vigorously placed in high pedestal by GEJ regime through the Agric Minister?
- IPPIS is the payment platform responsible for eliminating ghost workers from the federal ministries, what is going to become of it?
- How about the just concluded national conference? Will Buhari work for its implementation? Or would there be another conference?
- Even if he intends to fight corruption, how will he go about it?
- Are you not worried that Buhari certificate problem has not been transparently dealt with?
- And how about FOI, will he push state to adopt it? How?

Sadly Buhari is not talking, he's not saying what he would do! I sense he doesn't have full grasps of the issues he's coming to tackle!
Yet his mindless minions are just shouting 'Sai Buhari' all over the places, while his handlers are shielding him hard questions and debate!

Those APC fans bold enough to asked the right questions are being hounded, as the Op will soon realize!

GEJ has been less than stellar, but history shows us that Buhari is no better, he's actually worse! Be wary, less you jump from warm water in fire!

Again those who reject gentle approach should read:

Fortunately, it shall not be, because Buhari will lose again!

God bless you, my bruv pointB.

Same questions I have always asked: What would happen to some of the very important reforms that are already going on if (and God forbid) Buhari wins.

Has any body ever heard either Buhari or APC address this crucial issue?? Or are we going back to the same reason why nigeria has really never made continuous progress after mote than 55 years of nationhood?? A
Will we be going back to Yar'adua all over again??

This was the most important reason why I wanted the debate to hold. But guess who ran away from it??

Mynd44:
The APC which seems to be the main opposition to the PDP in Nigeria has for sometime now been vigorously pushing for the ousting of President Jonathan and his administration in the next general elections and they will need the votes of the general public. They’ve been doing some convincing to the people who are undecided, now regarded with the somewhat derogatory term of “fencist”. Right now, I find myself sitting down wondering about some important issues. My questions are based on these points.

Body Language: In the last Presidential elections, the APC (or if you like ACN) had a candidate to run against the president and just hours before the election, they allegedly dumped him for reasons best known to them. This singular act shows them as unserious and some might even say they are just in the race for running sake. In my opinion, the greatest damage done by that singular act was to their supporters and of course the candidate, AIG Nuhu Ribadu (rtd). After all the resources and funds put into a campaign you chicken out in the end and leave your people to dry? It speaks volume as they have set a precedence of them being unserious.

Candidates: I am not comfortable with some presidential candidates the APC brought. Buhari, Atiku etc are not what I will call presidential materials either based on past mismanagement of funds or being a dictator to human right abuses. Why not others? How come more people are not opting to contest and seek office? Must we be saddled with the same old people? Yes we know people like Kwankwoso and Rochas contested in the primary but still it was evident from the start that it was a battle between Buhari and Atiku. Atiku was third (which remains a shocker)

Insecurity: This is another problem. We all admit that this is a problem for all Nigerians but has the APC done enough to fight it? Have they shown support towards fighting this scourge that has left thousands dead, about a million displaced and also fear in the heart of a lot of Nigerians? What has the APC done to support the fight apart from endless criticism? Have APC brought out or proffered solutions to fighting this? The killing of members of the NYSC in the North after the elections comes to mind. Some may say that most of the perpetrators were CPC supporters but they have joined the ACN to form APC, so APC should please answer. Statements: This is another point that has been scary (well to me). A lot of statements credited to top members of the APC has not been comfortable ones. I find it careless and annoying the statements I hear and sometimes, I fear they can cause war.

Notable amongst these statements is the threat by the Director-General of their Presidential campaign, Governor Rotimi Amaechi that a parallel government will be formed if they lose. Does anyone remember that this kind of action led to the arrest and detention of Chief MKO Abiola?

Political Prostitution: It is difficult seeing a candidate scream XYZ today and tomorrow screams ABC. Most of the members of the APC were once in the opposition which they labelled as thieves and corrupt. Look at the case of Ekiti where Segun Oni joined the APC. That is a move that shocked even me because everyone remember the propaganda war he had with Fayemi before the courts declared in Fayemi’s favor. Endless Criticisms: Okay so the APC plays the role of an opposition party well. Yes they know how to criticize everything this administration does when campaigning but is that what their campaigns are about? I am tired of hearing what the other guys are going, what do you have for us. When you criticize, you need to also give solutions so you don’t seem to be just doing it because you can or because you are against them. The APC and PDP are both agents of Nigeria’s development right but how about saying what the government is doing right and then when you say what they are doing wrong, tell them what they should have done.

Future Plans: What does the APC have for us? What are their ideas, what will they do about security, poverty, electricity, mortality rate. Education etc. No one is talking about this or they are not talking about it enough. It seems to be a case of making a lot of noise but not really saying anything.

It is about actions, not manifesto.

Its just like asking why you should vote the Democratic party over the Republican party in the US? Who cares? For the records, more politicians have crossed from the Democrats to GOP and vice-versa than any two party in history.

What a lot of you posters here don't know is that at the birth of democracy, history has shown that a lot of politicians cross - carpet until each party forms an unspoken ideology.

There was the Federalist Party, Jeffersonian Party, National Republican Party, Whig Party - all these won presidential elections way before the formation of the Democrats & GOP that we now have in the US. So if our 16year old democracy can give us 2 strong political parties to choose from, and I've experienced one for those years with little to show for it, why not give the other a try?

I believe alot of you here are cheapstakes, easy to buy, one dime a dozen, that you flip as soon as PDP throws bone at you. So I won't be surprised if the OP becomes the latest mongrel.

Your mentality shows you are the cheap one, even though you would have us believe other wise. A naive conclusion at the cause of his/her change of mind speaks volume.

why is GEJ just fighting Boko Haram now? when he had troops for Ekiti magic?
If we vote him what is the assurance he will not disappear into his bunker again?
