Who need our advise? The IGBOs.

They are nothing without Yoruba's acceptance and recognition. Always seeking Yoruba's acknowledgement.

We are the pathfinders, Igbo follow but make too much noise.

That movies is classic and great..

Let me remind yu of some of them,

taboo..
Fatai desire...
Ikuku...
Love without language...
The evil that men do,live after them..
Blood money...
And many more igbos movies ...chai we need that african igbo magic or juju sharp sharp...

The days of great movies. It is time to revive that igbo culture and language. It is all we have. Rattle snake was indeed a great story. Action packed, drama and romance.

I love igbo people__ because, they keeep convincing themselves that they are being hated on.

Lets face reality, if they decide to create an igbo station - do we have enough content?
Do we have enough actors?

Apart from Queen Nwokoye, and a handful__ who else would be in the cast?

Majority of igbo actors have deflected to nollywood (English speaking Nigerian movie).

That's not the same for yorubas, the best yoruba actors are not even the ones you see in Nollywood. Majority of their veteran actors are in their indigenous industry (Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Yinka Quadri, Adebayo Salami(Oga Bello),Jide Kosoko,Idowu Phillips (Iya Rainbow) . Carving a niche for themselves there.

__ then the younger generation: Funke Akindele,Doris Simeon, Fathia Balogun, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Dayo Amusa, Mercy Aigbe etc.

Y'all need to watch yoruba movies, the sync, cast, colour, storyline hasn't even been achieved by the igbo dominated Nollywood.

Igbo people should work on themselves and stop looking for who to blame everytime. It's becoming boring.

Even as an igbo person, I doubt I can watch igbo movie @gun point. I got my lil bit of yoruba perfection from watching yoruba movies. Now, I watch without subtitle sef...lols

[size=18pt]Igbos are even ashamed of their language.

Yoruba language is popular in Togo, Abidjan, Jamaica, Brazil and Cuba.

Name one country out Nigeria where Igbo is popular. NONE.

Racists who blame others for their failure. The yeye langauge is even going extinct.

No disrespect to the igbos. I love igbos. Truth be told, there aren't enough content to air. There is an igbo channel on startimes, and they barely have anything interesting to put on, and it is characterised by repititions. If dstv were to eventually open an Ndigbo channel, I am sure even igbos will get bored after a while.

Popular Igbo Nollywood actors have to forget all the pure English movies they act in. Promote their culture to the world. Most Indian actors speak good English, but they still stick to their language in movies, and theybare respected everywhere. Every week, at least 15 yoruba movies are released, Even though half of them are nonsense, it still gives room for options. Igbos should release as many as possible too.

I would be glad, if they can work on this, and produce plenty many Igbo movies. Maybe from there, I will learn enough Igbo to woo Chinweizu(my life long crush).

I will follow you because you have spoken nothing but the truth..

Let me guess, u are a yoruba giving igbos advise again, on wat is in their interest? It is in igbo interest to watch yoruba and hausa channel?

Who invented Nollywood? Who invented Nigeria movie culture? Do u know the level of demand for Nollywood to revert back to igbo film production as opposed to the English film they embark on for an all inclusive viewing? Please save your advice for your tribe, we did not ask for them.

Those days of classical igbo movies like Evil Passion
send a mail to Dstv, maybe in another five yrs they will invent an igbo channel wink

Wat does it take to give Ndiigbo their channel? Fear that they might out do hausa and yoruba and be more popular? Perhaps the recognition that Ndiigbo invented Nollywood and are great.

It is just jealousy and envy of Ndiigbo that is the only reason they try very hard to hold us down but we rise and rise again.

What does DSTV air on yoruba channel and hausa channel? Why the apprehension about another peoples cuture? Yet they screem one Nigeria but remain intolerant.

When they make film about igbo history, it is aproblem to show on cinema (half of a yellow sun). Hausa an Yoruba will gang up to ban the movie from view in Nigeria. Is that a country?
Igbos does not have a rich culture, and even the little one you have are going into an extinction. Most of u ppl can't speak ur language but can speak Yoruba , hausa and english wella. I don't blame DTSV

South Africans own DSTv, if Igbo channel was viable enough, they wouldn't have hesitated to put it on air since. I believe the biafra war has affected an average Igbo psyche. They always feel inferior no matter how successful they may be, I believe there is a need for re-orientation.
