Buy Mini. That is used for new born. Most babies use mini till 9 months

Hello, Pushing & Vigilante Mamas,Who is awake o!
So I went for my first ANC yesterday(thursday) & had a shot of my first tetaneus injection, I was also given an antimalaria drug along with a refill of my routine drugs.
When I was given d tetaneus shot, it wasn't dat painful or swollen, I evn took precaution not to rub the spot & even put ice on it serverally when got home as I have heard more experienced mamas caution.
But now, the spot is a bit swollen and hurts, also I don't know if the fever am experiencing is as a result of the antimalaria drug I took or the tetaneus shot.
It is well with us all, as we shall all carry to term. #TeamSeptember!

Hello mummies in d house! i am 14 weeks 3 days pregnant; this is my first. Recently i have been having pains in my right leg whenever i sleep especially at night, when the pains at the right leg becomes much i change position to the left and same thing happens to the left leg. My husband will have to wake up and massage my too legs. Please, is it normal coz i am worried.

I think (not sure though) it is called restless legs syndrome. Google it up and see natural ways to reduce it. It is still part of the package. I had it with my last preg. It is like it only hurts when you are at rest and relieves you when you are moving about hence it is called restless legs. If it is too bad, talk to your doctor about it

fyi, v tukd to my gynea bou it n she said no dah d placenta has tkn ova alredi n d risk of mc is low..m jus rily confused as v had two 1st trimester losses alredi(altho the last scan i had was at 9weeks and it showed a viable cyesis, v also bin feelin flutters lateli at 14weeks)....m sori for d long epistle, do help a confuseddd sis please

Do not take any drugs that were not prescribed by your doc to avoid stories that touch o! You are 14 weeks feeling flutters, u are in 2nd trimester, banish any evil imagination of MC, you have crossed from the scary phase.
Pls stop being scared and just enjoy your pregnancy, k? Instead occupy your thought with baby shopping list and baby shower planning

According to folklore...you baby has plenty hair! lol
Ok, seriously, d itching is caused by stretching skin. Rub ori or olive oil on ur belly daily. They said if you scratch, it causes stretch marks, dunno if it is true oo. Too many old wives tales you get to hear when preg.

My boy was also like that. Infact we used to make fun of him not knowing that the poor little boy was in pain. I observed he acted liked that anytime I took milk. I resulted to google and found out that some babies are intolerant to cow milk because thebody doesnt breakdown cowmilk so it goes directlyto thebreast and thebaby's digestive system is imature for cowmilk hence the discomfort.to reducethe gssiness make sure u burp ur baby after eating as burping reduces the excess gas swallowed during eating and crying.also lie ur baby on his tummy to sleep. U will b verygrateful for that as it also reduces the stomach discomfort to minimum and reduces spitting.nva lie ur babyon his back if he isnot well burped but he can lie on histummy.observe ur baby's every move.it sure means something.

Please do not put your baby on the stomach to sleep, it is very dangerous for the baby, at 3 or 4 weeks, the milestone you are talking about is not enough for the baby to turn its head if he/she is choking, the bedsheet you are using can easily ruffle together around your baby's nose to reduce oxygen, the best way to put the baby to sleep is on their back. You can have a tummy time with your baby while he is awake, it helps in digestion but please do not put your baby to sleep on their tummy, I beg you in God's name. If you are still in doubt, please google for 'safe sleeping position for babies' and please view the images attached to it to understand more of this.

@Proudmum, I use sheabutter & blue seal vaseline, though my tummy is big, I just hv one small stretchmark & dt scratch too. #irepjune#

I too have the itchness once a while but fight the temptation to scratch as the folklore says it will lead to stretch marks.

No scratch o...its better u rub it lightly with ur palm try as much as possible to resist urge to scratch. Get ori 2day and start using it or Robb, the menthol in Robb helps too. I've been rubbing ori on my stomach and boobs since like 8weeks preggy.

Sorry dear, try and take lots of fluid to make up. I don't know what can stop the purging but make sure u are well hydrated. The Lord is ur strength

@rezzy, mini till 9months ke? Its midi i think babies use for a long tym. keji3, i ll advice u dont buy so much if u ve nt put to bed. I got a lot of pampers as gifts dat lasted me a long while. Diaper s something dat s readily available in shops. Wen u re sure of ur baby's size and oda things, u can nw buy accordingly.
