tongue tongue. I wanted to vote Ambode but because of this threat which I find challenging I will put the Oba's theory to test by voting Jimi Agbaje of the PDP. Let me see how millions will die by one man's word. Nonsense.

Not worth the risk friend..............

The first law I learnt on the streets is that no matter how strong you are or how well you can fight, you do not look for trouble away from home, you can defend yourself and quickly find an escape route if need arises.

1. You do not know the nooks and crannys of a strange land.

2. If wahala start and you are outnumbered as surely you will be, how do you escape.

So since these guys have more to loose in potential income and possible destruction of goods if trouble starts, it is not wise to go against your hosts in any form..it is common sense.

And really the Oba has a point, can his people go across the Niger and start telling their hosts that it is no mans land...take it or leave it, it is really disrespectful and no good can come out of it.

Even other Yoruba tribes that are not indegenes of Lagos know their boundaries and limitations.

When Mbu came and started flexing muscles, it did not take long for him to adjust...

What you can't take dont try to give.

From your deduction, I can assume you level of reasoning. So after paying tax in Lagos state, you tell now tell me where to cast my vote. Make the Oba do imm worst. It's Jimi Agbaje I know. Time to send high BP across his way.

Must you live in Lagos with all these your woes? go to bornu or Niger delta where good policies would favour you and your people. I think after this election we would contact our Yoruba leaders especially in Lagos to re-organize our political and economic status. This is our land not yours. Go and re build Aba and omitsha that your kinsmen have turned to misery.

I thot Bornu.was.APC....oh yeah, it is.

I had a bet that Ambode/APC wins Lagos. Now this statement if true is not helping my course nor that of APC.
Oba should know better. His stakes are higher.

The Oba is just Using APC as FFK used PDP.

He just said Jimi Agbaje is his blood relative.
He also knows that threatening the Igbo will make the Igbos yield more to Jimi, and at the same time, he is winning the support of APC.

Its a win win for him.

Is Jimi Agbaje an igbo man, no I don't think so. So why all these hatred?

This is exactly what FFK did in PDP (the more you look the less you see) it's the other way.

how does u being in another mans land affect ur right to vote? the biggest mistake the stupid oba made is to threaten them. u can only appeal to them. i must vote jimi and oba should go ahead qbd die. 80% of taxi drivers in Bayelsa state are yorubas and no one threatened them. yoruba said igbo votes are irrelevant, y threatening them? oba should go and die.

OGA do ur home work well, after last general election , 3 igbo reps emerged. To represent 3 out of 6 constituencies in Lagos state . 1 for oshodi-isola , ajegunle and another one for surulere constituency
VirginFinder:

Which Igbo reps?
How many federal constituencies are in Oshodi/Isolo?

It is obvious from the weight and spread of JK's campaign across all media platforms that those backing his campaign are not sparing to chance in capturing Lagos. It is personal to the principal characters in the PDP who see Asiwaju as the architect of their loss of the center to the APC. In fact, they see the Governorship election in Lagos as an opportunity to humiliate him in his own backyard. This should not be allowed to happen. Jk has agreed to be a willing pawn in their game without the interest of Lagosians at heart. We must resist this by all means necessary! All Lagosians and lovers of Lagos must come out to speak with one voice through our votes ; because our love for Lagos supercede's their hate for Tinubu. The people of Lagos, irrespective of our tribe, must realize that Lagos has never been better positioned to make the leap of being the mega city of our dreams than now with an APC led federal government. If Lagos has been able to archive this level of excellence in the past 16 years despite the hostility of PDP presidency , we can only imagine what Lagos would benefit a very friendly Federal Government and without the PDP policy of hostility to Lagos for the past 16yrs..It's clear Lagos will obviously enjoy a "favoured child" status if it remains an APC state. The election on Saturday is not a referendum on the performance of the APC in Lagos; It is not a contest between two people who fiercely love Lagos. It is a contest between light and darkness. It is a battle between progress & retrogration. It is a battle for the future of our children in this great state. We must stand up to be counted. There is no room to sit on the fence. It is not about Tinubu. He is just one man. It is not about Fashola. He has done his bit and, win or lose, he is going a higher office. In fact, it is not even about Ambode or Agbaje. It is about the future of our children and their children. On the morning after, we must be able to look at ourselves in the mirror and say, "Yes, we voted for APC and we did the right thing"...

Lagos is a capital, like wise Abuja, Do Abuja natives have any say in Abuja? Why are the Lagos natives so bitter?
Lest I forget, a majority of yorubas there are not even from Lagos.

My dear if your quest if for argument, I can't help you. Ambode is the next Governor of Lagos. Personally, I will not have Bode George or PDP anywhere near Alausa. We just kicked them out of Abuja for gross incompetence, and you want to hand Lagos over to them. Why?

I also believe everyone should vote for whoever they want. But I dislike the chest beating of my fellow Ndigbo for canvasing a block vote for Agbaje. It makes it confrontational. While I do not support the tone of the Oba, but you should not forget it is a reaction to all the months of rants. And the new idea of Agbaje and Ifeanyi Uba to make the PDP campaign Ndigbo Affairs is totally unacceptable.

So if Ambode loses on Saturday, it would be because of Igbo votes?

Exactly the point we are making here! Igbo are not the only tribe living in lagos but stupidly, they are the only one openly going against their host's interest. Trust me,majority of Hausa/Fulani resident in Lagos may vote for Agbaje on Saturday but they are not showing it. It was this same open display of arrogance and hate by the Igbo that led to the Kano crisis when Sardauna was killed by an Igboman. This goes beyond APC vs Pdp. The message is very clear-lLagos is not a no-man's-land. It is Yorubaland and Igbo have no choice other than to respect that fact.

so town planning does'nt include informing the people and giving them time to organise themselves...before demolishing their properties.

To put it mildly, many Nigerians are idïots.
Total disrespect for the law and constitution, silly tribalism all rolled into some blockheads.
Yet this silly people condemn rigging and manipulation, but inwardly they are barbarians who know no peace.
People have the rights to vote whom they choose.

No wonder Obas have lost respect, since all they do is act like political toys/touts but will never stand for integrity.
Shame!

Some people always wonder why I hate APC (as a party)...

Everything about that party and their leaders represents EVIL. A monarch in his right senses would never ulter this gibberish. I think the monarch has been hypnotised.
