I am a yoruba man, I know the king might have been out of lead to have expressed himself that way but that doesnt mean he has no point...he only adressed it poorly. I wanna appeal to yhe Igbos to pls be fair and for once not act selfish in choosin a leader. just as the Oba was uttered disrespectul word so also has the leaders of yur tribe in lagos done worse. the yorubas gave wat we all know we can never get in your own land out of maturity and justice, the same law that giudes you guides the yy yoruba man yet out of wat id call greed or self centredness u say its not enough, u want the whole thing...the choice of words, the actions portrayed with the presidential election clearly states that. such actions tells u really dont respect the wishes of those who accommodates you with peace n love. u really dont mind destroying wat has been carefully built over 16yrs to have way to ur personal gains...to me ins not about jimi or Ambode or who ever...its the attitude thats disrespectul to the indegenes who offered you a level playing field that defines howyou would be seen after d elections irrespective of who wins 1 Like |

If this is true, the oba should be arrested immediately for threatening the peace of the land. And I don't think his juju is that potent. And his kits and kins are cowards. 6 Likes |

I don't want to believe that the Oba of Lagos said those words. If it were true though, it is unbecoming of the Oba. When did he become a card carrying member of the APC? Is he saying that no Yoruba person voted for PDP?. He should be neutral. All power belongs to GOD. Let people vote without fear or intimidation. It is well by GOD's special grace. AMEN 6 Likes |
okay sir, Igbos shouldn't vote ooo! But Yorubas in the East and Rivers must continue to vote. Chai, Igbos don suffer! Guy, that is not the import of the Oba's stern warning. Igbos in Lagos contested for and won 3 or 4 HOR seats, under d PDP. These were seats hitherto occupied by APC. Pls tell me, in which other part of Naija is this 'madness' possible? I told people around me after d result for Lagos presidential election was released that it is because d elders in Lagos allowed d 'madness' of Igbos clinching d tickets of pdp in Lagos, thats why the slim margin btw gmb and gej in that election. Now that same 'madness' is back to bite Lagos natives again, if care isn't taken, jimi go floor ambode dis weekend, and its gonna be attributable to d block votes of Igbos in Lagos. |

I intended coming back on sunday, But bc of this threat, I will be back to Lagos on Friday. Let see How oba and his threat helps ambode. Jimi must win Lagos to help checkmate apc at federal level. Oba fvck u! U think We give a damn about ur powerless god? I say fvck u and ur useless title one million times. U just pour a cup of sand in ambode's garri. Jimi for Lagos. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

That explain why Hausa people slay the ibos all time , they never ever respect their host. They make mess of their land , find favour in another mans land only to claim to it saying it belongs to them. A Yoruba man will not attempt all they were doing in aba or abakaliki and I don't see any South east state make a Yoruba man commisioner. So it's a choice, face the business you are here for and stay out of politics or you may as well go back home in droves and develop your land if you believe in fairness ! |

MayorofLagos: First of all, I am not Igbo. I do not have to be Igbo to recognise hypocritical comments. How you can even try to justify what your Oba has said is baffling. Secondly, I do not see how Mbu is relevant to this discussion. If he was used as a political tool by virtue of his office I don't see how his actions relates to the igbo community as a whole and the main topic of discourse here. Thirdly, were Mbu's threats and intimidations issued to a particular tribe on the basis of their choice of candidate? You need to avoid sentimental judgment. 15 Likes 6 Shares |

espn:Mumu like you...if you r sensible enof u will know that the economy of Lagos is built by the igbo residents. How many yoruba man pay tax here in lagos? Is it not agberoism that ur pple do? You can't force the igbos who they will vote because everyone has his/her civil right to vote for whom them deem right for them....Lastly I listened to the Oba speak yestrday and he never said all these but only said he wants Ambode to become the next elect. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I don't knw how true this is but its possible, considering the way he spoke to jonathan, when jonathan and agbaje visisted him. If this man is a mouth piece for the yorubas...and they support what he said, well if the head is sick the whole body must be in trouble, evidently these are the words of a psyco. I can't blame his ignorance because the people he is threatning are probably his fellow fetish and ignorants like him. These are the words of a coward, whose scared silly and if he has such powers he should use it on the electrote he's threatened by, why threaten peace loving people? He's should go the the oba of onitsha and just listen to him speak..shame will cover his bleached out face. 4 Likes 1 Share |

egift: I am beginning to ask questions if Jimi Agbaje is an Igbo man. In democracy people vote who ever they believe spoke to there issues. If Jimi did a better job convincing people why the threats and rants. Is he less of a yoruba man? Is igbo the only tribe in Lagos? Nigerians have awaken to the choice of voting candidates irrespective of political party. I have a million Yorubas who are fed up with the present administration and it's power brokers. Those people voted APC at federal level and have decided on PDP in Lagos state. I really don't understand why the IGBOs are taking the blame for the failures of an outgoing administration. This is a disappointment coming from a man leaning towards a political party who spent the past 4 yrs accusing the outgoing president of tribal and religious divides. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Can we settle down for a bit and reason intelligently? Do you really think the Oba would make that statement knowing that it would turn people against him? My people, don't let them divide us. Don't let this spiteful article by the opposition be the reason you give Lagos to the incompetent PDP. LET'S VOTE AMBODE FOR CONTINUITY. 1 Like |

The Stvpidity of Certain folks on this thread is Alarming. Despite their enlightenment, their tribal bigotry would get the average ab0ki staring in amazement. A man threatens a human being like you for making a choice, and you go ahead to sing his praises? This shows the kind of future that lies in wait for you and your generations. So, the retarded thinking man thinks it's only his juju that is effective....tell him he has never heard of trans-oceanal juju. What ineptitude and aggravated nonsense is this! What kind of oppression and gagging is this. Hahahahahah The old man is scared.....Saboteurs Oshi. As usual. I await the oponu rada radas, the goons and the mental leftovers that won't see the sense in my comment (not minding the insults). The Sopona that will roast your left bum is just around the corner. VolvoS60: The Igbo's are a buncha thoughtless and senseless pack. Trying to talk sense into them will make no sense as this has always yielded no effort in the past. Coercion and violence is the language that activates their senses and the Obas message is appropriate, necessary and timely. |
