The poor writing style will tell you all you need to know about the article and its source. All these in a bid to rubbish the President. He has conceeded defeat already, what else do they want from him? Oh, just to prove he's no hero?

Reuters has joined the propaganda bandwagon

So much for news---The west has been hell bent on destabilizing the country, the fact that their permutations didn't work out , they now resort to foolish news.

Hmmmm......

This looks and sounds rather far fetched but Orubebe's actions that day were scary and it was very obvious it was part of a carefully written and planned script. Then the joint statement from US & UK was a confirmation that something was really amiss. The fact that they had to interrupt their nuclear negotiations to release that terse statement is a further confirmation.

The remaining days before May 29th are indeed pregnant.

In any case, thank God for his mercies

America and Britain had warned Jonathan against any funny games with electoral process and that was why he quickly congratulate Gen. BUHARI. He knew that he would be held responsible for any political uprising

I know Reuters don't report crap..

This is serious. Thank God the PDP has been put to shame.

You are right. Reuter and AP are one of the most credible news agencies in the world. I read this news in Saharareporters. I had doubts, but we have to be fair, Saharareporters having been doing a great jobs uncovering secret information. Reading this from Reuter just confirms the news.

My in-laws were murdered in Buguma by political thugs during the April 11 elections.
They were members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
We will never see them again?
My people are not celebrating.
My people are mourning.
They were attacked and murdered, because they wanted to exercise their freedom of choice to support and vote for political candidates of their choice.
President Goodluck Jonathan said the elections were free and fair?
When more than 50 people were murdered in Rivers State?
When hundreds of thousands could not vote, because of fear of political thugs and hired killers.
Is this democracy or democrazy as Fela Kuti called it "demonstration of craze"?.

I hate to hear of America and Britain getting involved in our local affairs. We dont need them to survive cos they dont like us. When we had the ebola crisis these same countries turned their back on Nigeria. So pls never look up to them unless u want Nigeria to turn to afghanistan or syria

When the tout orubebe kept saying jega cannot answer him there at the collation centre but in his office I knew the plan was to "arrest" the announcement of the result. We will then be left with an inconclusive election reminiscent of june 12 1993 election debacle Those who think gej was not part of the plot must be kidding. The Americans & British had intelligence report of the plot and came out out early to warn gej - luckily for him he heeded their stern warning otherwise he would hv gone the way of Gbagbo.

This gossip journalism from reuters simply shows that these foreign agents are working really hard to precipitate crisis in Nigeria, even after the country has succeeded in going through the general elections. Kindly keep your miserable selves out of our affairs.

I knew from the get go that incident wasn't spontaneous. Just look at how desperate some Nigerians could be.

This guy should be tried for treason and have his asss lucked up for the rest of his life.

Imagine where we all would have been had their uncanny plot succeeded.... Gosh.

You have to applaud the western media, they go to far lengths to meddle in Nigerian politics. When the violence did not occur as expected, its now time to rubbish any legacy of democracy GEJ will leave behind
