Haaaaa! 12g of sugar per 100ml serving? Mba, I don't agree with you on this one jare.

Oya wait, make I go snap pic of my milk...

My dear your laptop is next to you,use google and see for yourself.I have a very good source cheesy grin

Skim Milk is not healthier. You need whole fats to absorb fat soluble vitamins like A and D. Also consuming whole fats does not raise your cholesterol that is more due to sugar and other bad fats that cause inflammation in the arterial lining.

Skim milk may be good if you are losing weight, but not as healthy. Buttermilk is much more healthy, if you can stand the taste, far less lactose and contains probiotics.

Dear,

Dietary guidelines around the globe suggest we LIMIT consumption of sugar and foods with added sugars. You don't need to avoid sugar completely for good health, but it's sensible to cut back on foods that are correspondingly low in nutrition and easy to overeat – soft drinks, lollies, pastries or sweets, for example.

The sugar found in fruit depends on the individual fruit and can be made up of multiple different sugars -- glucose, fructose and/or sucrose. Although the sugars found in fruit are the same as those in refined sugar, their absorption depends on their chemical and plant structures, food processing and food preparation. As a result, fruit and refined sugar have very different effects in the body.

Sweetheart the difference is in the digestion process,Fruit is very fiber-rich making its absorption different than that of refined sugars.

we are saying the same thing. I even agreed with you embarassed

I said the sugar found in a tablespoon of refined sugar (fructose)is the same concentration as the sugar in a whole banana.
Yes, the body absorbs refined sugar faster. That's why a little goes a long way.

Let chillisauce be great. cheesy

as time goes on, that one cube will turn to no cube at all. Baby steps.

Nice. Am following you, need to hit my target of 65kg also
Though no time for exercise but the little walks I do daily, will, have to suffice for now
Hmmm, do u have a target date to hit the mark?

Thanks. smiley

Nope, no target dates for me. I'm not in a rush. I've been on my weight loss journey for just a little over 3 years now, and I think I've got maybe a year or so to get to where I want to be.

Also bear in mind that the recommended, safe amount of weight to lose per week is 2-4lbs. I know the bigger you are, the easier it is to drop a whole lot more, but as you get smaller, it gets more difficult. Anyway, like I mentioned to you earlier, avoid crash dieting. It's a short term solution that's not sustainable and you will put on even more weight than before when you start eating again.

That aside, there is the danger of getting loose, flabby skin if you lose too much too soon. That's why incorporating a healthy diet and sustainable, continuous exercise is important. But always remember to drink lots and lots of water. It not only helps to hydrate your skin, but it helps your skin "snap" back into shape. This is one of the reasons why I now avoid coffee like never before. (I still miss it though).

Amount of fructose in 100g of different fruits.

According to this chart, 4 bananas is less than 15g of fructose.
You have to eat 30 strawberries or more to go over the daily 15g.

Efe do you eat 30 strawberries a day? grin

the fructose in most veggies are negligible since most of them are bitter.

shocked shocked shocked

Don't mind Chillisauce jare. I don't even like strawberries. Can't stand them. But all of my kids do.

I've got to admit though, that I like, and do eat 10 of the fruits on that list of yours (but not all at once sha)... cheesy cheesy cheesy

I prefer strawberry yourghurt instead. And in my sinful days (of past), a Mac Donald's strawberry milkshake wasn't such a bad idea to me then... cheesy cheesy

Seriously, my journey started mid February. I have had my weight stable since I was 18yrs. After birth I snapped back after 3months.

I watch what I eat and do little or no exercise.

This yr was different as I needed 6 packs and would like to see how I will look dropping weight.
I look and feel different.
My asset assess looks smaller but very firm now. cool
Or getting very firm.

My thighs too.

Edwife Is peanut butter bad?

The fat in peanut butter is about 50% monounsaturated and 20% saturated. The rest of it (about 30%) is polyunsaturated fat, mostly the Omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid, which can be problematic.

But it is fairly nutritious,so a little spread in the bread is not bad.
