@Ademyde, thanks for your response. I will try to make enquiries at the hospital.

@ talltosyne, three gbosa for you, you are a darling. Please how does laparoscopy helped unblock your tubes? Sorry for asking too much questions. This is the first time of seeing someone to discuss laparoscopy test on the thread and I had roamed so much on the street of Lagos looking for where to do it before I got that Lekki place of #325k.

@redeemed, its God at work ooooo, cos I can't really say hw it happens. Btw the time I did hsg and d laparoscopy, I took herbs which does nt even given me any signs dt it works. Cos I was told once I take the herb, whatever is blocking it will come out as feaces. Then during d laparoscopy, the pressure exerted. To force the dye through the tubes also helps in some cases. In less than 1hr, d procedure over and I was asked to go home immediately.

I was also spending so much to see a gyn dr until I relocated to IB. After 4k for card, I only pay for drugs n treatment. No consultation fee on every visit d way dey do it in lagos.

@MummyEsther, may God deliver us from Lagos gynae, when I was told 325k na so I just stay put for one side only for my brother In law to find out that it is been done in AKTH Kano for 25k and hoping to see a Prof of gynae there also but my absolute trust is in by God. The doctors are only trying but I pray the greatest physician will intervened by His mercies.

@talltosyne, congratulations sis, I pray it will end in praise for us all ttcers'. Will keep you informed. Where did you get the herbs? I did hsg last month and my enemies was told they have bilateral tubal occlusion. I have done 2 hsg before and the results given was that the left tube is patent so how it suddenly became bilateral I don't know. However, it's just a fact but not the truth because I will believe the lord report.

Good evening all, like i said my story is quite long, i will try as much as possible to skip tins that might give me away cos my people dey spread mat for this thread but i will try not to skip relevant issues. Officially have been TTC for awhile. Had a D&C while i was younger(God forgive me). When i started TTC i was asked to run HSG by the doc. On the day of the HSG, the sonologist could not pass the instrument thru. He then refered me back to the hospital saying i have stenosis. I went to the hospital for explanations, the doctor told me my cervix was closed shut due to scar. He said the only way to open this was to put me to sleep and pass a catheter thru. Actually wen we got to the hospital the chief consultant was not available so had to make do with the another doc.

@rejoice03 and talltosyne, thank you for your response. I was asked to do diagnostic laparoscopy to find out the patency of my tubes. The only place I was referred to in Lagos, i was told it's going to cost #325,000 but i think it's the laparoscopy surgery and I don't have that kind of money. It is well!

.

am just thinkin out aloud : instead of spending 350 n above just to open ur tubes/chec if its open, i feel its better ading something n using the money for ivf, hear ivf is abt 350k in regenesis, n drugs abt 400k.

laproscopy has its own risks too

Why not try guifei bao n serrapeptase then confirm the potency of your tubes before deciding to go for laparoscopy? Like ripvanwink said, it has its downside too.
@Mummy Esther's, Howz ur combo going?
Hallo all.

Nanight.
@Talltoysyn, when did u do yours? Whats the status of your tubes now? Did the doctors find anything else wrong with ur inside during d laparoscopy? Sorry am asking this, a mama once said a doctor requested she did laparoscopy to know if there is any issue inside her body.

Mamas using serra and guifei bao for blocked tubes can also add castor oil packs. A friend of mine though not on this thread used just serra and the packs and it worked for her, she had bilateral tubal blockage

Sorry mamas, thought I attached the result ni. They'r as follows :

FSH.... 15.1mu/mil
LH...... 12.7mu/mil
Prolactin... 20.70ng/mil
E2.... 384-35pg/mil
Prog.... 1.7ng/mil

NOTE: It was done CD 14.

Then Doc placed me on Parlodel 250mg dly for 30days (said my Prolactin is increased by 0.5) I don't see the need for it anyways.

So for hubby, he placed him on CLOMID 50mg tds, Vit C, 1tab tds, and vit E 1000iu dly for 30 days. Pls mamas, come help with my result o

baby dust to all
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by sugah: 11:49pm On May 27, 2015
Apple19 do you mean 2.5mg of Parlodel ?

All the articles iv read about clomid for male factor says half tablet of 50mg( i.e 25mg).

Other sabi mamas would help you with the assay interpretation. You might need to include the normal limits for CD 14.

Happy children's day to all our children. My twins would celebrate with me next year.

@IOmoge: I had to postpone starting till next week. I've bought all 3 now. The Serrapeptase, Guifei bao and Gynapharm. I used one seed of the guifei bao and AF came after two days. I had to stop. Also, as I was about re-starting, I read abt Serrapeptase again somewhere, so I decided to wait until I bought it, so as to do a triple combo next cycle. I'll update you.
I've also been advised to do flushing immediately I'm thru with the one cycle combo treatment before doing hsg.
I pray I won't need the hsg again before bfp.

@Newbies welcome and have a short but fruitful stay here. @all greetings. @uwasam concentrate on opening your cervix and leaving it open. That might be your only problem. Mostly caused by scar that did not heal properly. Only a good gyno can treat you, don't use anyhow doctor. On another note, do you ovulate on your own? @ellawify maca can be added. How poor is his count? If your problem is male issue, don't try bombarding yourself with fertility drugs, concentrate on his treatment first till you get minimum numbers. Like I've written before, clomid or triggering will be a waste of time and over stressing your body is the sfa is poor. Lets be careful the way we handle drugs. The least a ttcer can do is to avoid drug abuse, you never know what can happen at anytime. Please, always visit your doctor and if he gives you any drug while you intend using another or adding supplements, discuss with him, that's why you pay him. If he doesn't give ear to your views, then fine one that will. Spreading fertility dusts all over the thread.

@ mummyesther I also had a nasty experience at unioun diagnostics at ikotun was bleeding so much and d heartless guy was shouting at me to open my legs.eventually d result was inconclusive and I was referred to dir head office for another hsg to be carried out infact I almost fainted.

because of this encounter I have not had the courage to go for another hsg.
plz can mamas in abuja suggest where I can get a painless hsg done.
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by uwasam(f): 8:20am On May 28, 2015
lemme continue frm were i stopped ytday. so i carried the catheter for 10days and went for the sono HSG, only for the sonologist to tell me i have four different fibroid both in and out of the uterus with the biggest measuring 2cm. I was angry, depressed and sad. This is becos prior to this time i had ran series of scan and there was nothing like fibroid. Did i also mention that during the 10days i carried the catherer i added about 4kg? yes i did. It was later explained to me that the drugs i was taking was the reason. I would eat one minute the nxt am hungry. I had to tell them i was ill at the office to enable me stay at home but wen i resumed people were wondering and giving me side eyes cos i had added so much weight. I was not convinced with the sono result so i went to anoda hospital, there i was told is two. Sub and intra (hope i got that right). Measuring 2cm too. Then i had already started reading this page here. So i got myself apple cider to use.

Check if Mecure is in Abuja, although their hsg is not totally painless BUT you'll have professionals doing it for you.
Another one is Prisms Diagnostic, I don't know if they are in Abuja. They charge very very high but its near zero painless. You'll be given an injection and oral drugs before the hsg. They charge N30k

other mamas can make inputs too but those two were ok for me. Union can even make the tubes blocked if they were open prior to their hsg cos of the way they carry out the procedure harshly. Who knows if they sterilize their tools sef.
