Jascon4,this is a big stereotyping. It isnt always what it seems. I've gone to so many hotels i can pass for a connoisseur on it. Male friends even call me to recommend hotels for them. Reason? My boyfriend has a job that makes him spend the night atleast 2ce in a month in a hotel and i'm always with him. I wont count the numerous trainings that warrants the hotel stays for 3days,6days and more. Those not less than 2ce in a year. It doesnt make me a prostitute if i snap pictures there. I dont do much of that anyway. Work aside,we sometimes just spend the night at a hotel, for no reason. And note,i'm just as frequent at his place. I even have my own keys.

Read posts properly before you comment. I was in no way referring to hotel restaurants or bar. My emphasis exactly was hotel rooms.

Meanwhile, I never condemned taking honest photos in a hotel, don't misquote me.

What bearing does the discuss of my gf have in this Miss?

@ OP, u're not wide enough in ur imaginations. Promiscuity is nt d only thing that takes one to a hotel. Av taken snapshots in a hotel before. I was there wit family - ma sisters, nephew, niece nd brother- just a weekend away from d house. I took full advantage cos I snapped in d lobby, pool, garden, balcony, toilet, in short everywhere. So Is that promiscuity in ur small mind?

Your case is exceptionally peculiar Tyna. If you did carefully read my post, you probably would have realize they were not stereotyping like you asserted. I never in anyway labelled all girls prostitute because they visited a hotel.

Again, if you have also read my subsequent posts, you would've noticed my acknowledgment of the fact that there are a few category of ladies/women who can honestly access these facilities. However, the number of such women pales into nothing when compared with an overwhelming majority of girls who are lodged and hosted by a man in hotel rooms across the country. These, exactly are the category of girls that I'm alluding to. These are the ones who despite their insidious activities in these hotel rooms would be taking selfies in the room and toilet of these hotels and spread it all over social media to up their social status but end up denigrating their personality and/or character.

If so many people have issues with what you wrote, you might want to rephrase it so you can write what you actually meant to say. That being said, I feel a tad bit dumber after reading this thread.

Op, ask yourself these very simple questions- What is a hotel? Are you in any way richer, smarter or better than any man or woman that is seen in a hotel? Are they not humans like ,,you? Unless caught in the act, you have no right to question or judge any one. Just mind your biz wax. A woman far away from home can afford the luxuries in a hotel if she so pleases. Any male who thinks otherwise must have been brought up in a brothel. Be civil and cleanse your mind from filth.

Unfortunately u fall among the group of people whose perception of my post is restricted to just one angle.

I'm sure u didn't see it anywhere in my post where I judged people who went to hotels for any purpose whatsoever.

And there is no where in that post that I mentioned that there are no ladies who could afford to ladge themselves in a hotel. Moreso, it ain't my business what anyone does, but I'm only sharing an experience here.

Isn't it baffling how you could ask me to be civil when you very post is riddled with uncivilised words and indirect insults. Can u pls point out my supposed impoliteness?

1st of all, your caption says it all. Then you high five miscreants who come here to make derogatory comments about ladies who visit hotels for whatever reason and take pictures. If you were really refering to wayward ladies, why should you care about them taking pictures when they do not feel any shame with their 'profession'? The motive behind creating this thread is very clear. You are just simply a narrow minded trouble maker.

Since you folks have a problem understanding my post, I will relentlessly educate you on its import.

Firstly, I never mentioned that taking photos in a hotel room or anywhere around it was an act of promiscuity. I admitted that there are a few ladies who can afford to pay and lodge themselves in a hotel, or whose family can afford to do so. These category are an exception to my post.

My reference particularly was to those ladies who were lodged and hosted by men in a hotel. These are the ones whom I said despite their insidious and nefarious activities in these hotel rooms would be taking sensual selfie in the rooms, lavatories and even lobby and put them all over the social media to show off to people how classy and sophisticated they are but end up assassinating their character.

Didn't say it was wrong. The idea is, some ladies get taken to a hotel for a night. While in the room, they take different photo of themselves and also while in the lavatory. They post this picture with the thought of impressing people and showing off their supposed class cos of the luxurious background offered by these hotels. But they fail to realize that the picture is rather exposing their sexual escapades where people will be more inclined to look or judge in that direction.

Why do u bother to explain? The person that quoted u B4 ur reply knows. She's just trying to defend their sexcapades. After all u said in ur posts that the girl was asking u can't someone's place be like dis. She isn't even comfortable accepting its a hotel. Don't bother explaining to all this husslers on nairaland.

You wrote it so it stands to reason that you understand what you wrote however with the number of people who did not get what you were attempting to say I can only assume you were not as clear as you thought.

To explain why I feel dumber will not just derail the thread but take it on a roller coaster ride.

I kno dt naturally I dont av comprehension shortcomings bt even at that, I quickly went to check ur original post to ascertain whether there is a faint mention of 'some ladies lodged by men' bt I didn't see any. So I pray you, Mr over-syllabus renounce ur claim cos in ur original post u said, 'ladies!' No specifications. I won't renege on wat I said earlier- U must av a small mind.
I do volunteer work for NGOs who lodge me and my team in hotels in and outside Lagos for weeks, I smile at the thought that those honourable pple I work with may all be prostitutes. Jasi konga, am not usually rude on a public forum such as dis, so I beg u don't bother to reply to this. Thanx!

Excluding ladies who lodge themselves in a hotel, the other category who go there in the instance and bid of man is the category my post subtly referred to

My post is not about those who do volunteer work for NGO and are lodged in a hotel, neither does my post condemn taking selfie in a hotel room and lavatory. Read the second or third paragraph of my former post and you would get the core of the discuss.

I reckon you gentlemen and ladies have noticed a growing trend where ladies/girls thoughtlessly but excitedly take photos in hotel rooms, lavatory and lobby, supposedly in a bid to give an impression of class and glamour but unwittingly giving off a sense/impression of indecency and promiscuity.

Don't they ever imagine that people would recognise a hotel room, lobby and environment from its background? I was simply going through the photos of a female friend on her phone, lo and behold, I saw photos of she and another female friend in a hotel room with varying postures. Then I bluntly told her, "this photo was taken in a hotel". Then in a weak attempt to defend herself, she said "so somebody's house cannot have this same look"? At that point, she knew that I knew the truth. She felt awkward.

So, when taking that photo in that nice little hotel next time, let even your subconscious be aware that we can recognise a hotel when we see one, or save yourself the embarrassment if you are not up for it and knock it off. There are innumerable spots and scenery to take awesome photos. Except of course you prefer the "hotel facade" and want to prove to us that you are a hustling kind.

Women matter tire me. Some girls make me ask, " Where is the brain " ?
