A German University requires C1 German language certificate. Does that means one needs to learn German from A1 to C1 at the Goethe Institute or how does it work out?

First,

What's did you study during your HND, if its computer/chemical/microbiology/business administration/economics related

Then count yourself lucky wink wink

you have countless number of schools that offers courses taught in English language

Just your IELTS and maybe Goethe A1 should be sufficient for admission

Hope that helps !

Really? That sounds great. HND Computer science is the course. Could you please fill me in with names of such schools. I would appreciate.

Hello house, a friend in Rhine waal told me he know of a student who processed his sponsorship letter from someone abroad (USA), that his sponsor went along with his financial statement and other requirements to the german consulate office in US. I want to know if its truly possible to be done in the same way frm outside Germany, and if so will it be accepted here in nigeria?
Thanks for ur anticipated input

Well, I don't know how strong such letter is, but I could remember that someone got his sponsorship lettter via his uncle in U.K.(German embassy in Uk). But don't know if his visa was granted.
U can still try ur luck

It is absolutely necessary for the sponsor to be a resident in Germany... Anything else is not acceptable.....!!!

Hello Peeps

If after your student visa interview you recieved a mail from embassy to fund your account and send details to them.

If you reply this is email is it Ok or would be recieved? I am kind of confused that maybe not all mail is read. anyone already applied and forward details with just responding to their email?

Worried about this. Someone told me you have to use the email for booking a student visa appointment

I am just worried as the embassy asked me for some more details and to fund account after interview

Uncle Beth, good morning. I find your first paragraph condescending although I understand no offense was meant, so none taken.
I have read the writeup you're referring to. But you should understand that my question is not so much a question on the differences between traditional Unis and Unis oAS as it is between the city of Passau and the city of Kiel. just enter any of this search queries into Google and see how many results come up:
""General German Visa Enquiries Part 2" passau" or ""german Embassy And Visa" passau" (remove outer quotes but leave inner quotes). it seems almost nobody here goes to Passau and I feel it's something I should be perplexed about.
With the information at my disposal, I prefer the city of Kiel to Passau, but I prefer Uni-Passau to Fh-Kiel. I just want to know which trade-off to make - Of course all these will be inconsequential if I get accepted into Stuttgart, which brings me to the second part. I do not wish to swap schools oh, at all at all, and I will be using a blocked account.

So please allow me to ask you a simple Yes/No question. If I open my blocked account and book for visa interview with Fh-kiel, and turn up with Stuttgart's documents for the interview without informing them in the period in between that I wish to go to Stuttgart and no more Kiel, will there be any consequences?

My dear because of your wisdom, I am compelled to answer u , even if u ask what is an apple ? Abeg pm me joooor, I just like young Nigerians that prove me wrong ...

Now, I pray it happens like dat for u.

But I advice, once stuttgart show, just write embassy, don't surprise them biko ! Some ppl don't like surprises.

Then I go link u with the guy wey I talk about, so that him go help calm ur b.p.

Oya peace.

I am sure more concise answers will come up but to the best of my knowledge..... NO!

You can only access your funds from the bank once the regional alien office has cleared you and extended your visa. It is only with your extended visa that you can visit the bank and have your account activated for monthly release of the stipulated amount. So all in all, there is no significant effect only the extra effort required for the regularization (remember you indicated that your account be domiciled in a branch close to your school. That has to now be changed to your new location).

The bottom line here is that in order to save time, you start your visa processing with the present preferred school's admission letter and if at the time of your interview your actual preferred is yet or has offered admission, you can ask the woman at the consulate after you are done with your interview for further clarifications (it may be done in the third person make sand no for enter the done garri tongue).

To our people that will be attending the Goethe Institute Education seminar please do well to ask this question and lay the answers on us.

Wishing successes to all due for interview today.

Did my interview yesterday already...only a few changes in the scenes and location, the questions were same, only from a new person entirely...though I didn't prepare like the last one, this one is way better and more relaxed...and oh! the blonde that conducted the interview was pretty and when she said "wow, you know so much about Germany, I will definitely love to see you go there quickly, you would love it" I couldn't hold back a smile.
If you are for a Bsc course, and you are going for a subject course like biology, physics or maths, just brush up you knowledge because you MAY likely do a test, read my last interview session and edit to fit yours. You will be more than fine.

@stuttman, I will give my own input as regards your question soon.......

Anyone going to Germany this winter will be doing a great disservice to oneself if one fails to learn a lil bit of the language. The programme presented by Goethe this August is a better deal than the normal classes and far cheaper @20k....we paid way more.
@ kilo4sure I will reply your pm soon
