SurebOy..

Kindly put me through..

a. I have accepted my offer for admission

b. Enrolled as attending studnet 15/16

c. I am going to pay for the Membership Fee 2015 – 2016 Basic degree students (studying bachelor's or master's degree) and exchange students (includes the health care fee of FSHS) 114.00 € / academic year. Through GTbank.

d. After paying for the membership... What is next? Appointment or what?

Other info i was given are:

Housing... I was told that in Mikkeli, student housing is offered by the Mikkeli Student Housing Ltd, MOAS. Most student apartments consist of single rooms and shared apartments within easy walking distance to the campus. These shared apartments are cheaper and usually easier to get than private housing. It is also possible to search for an apartment in the open market, but that requires more work from the student. A local news paper, Länsi-Savo, is a good place to look for available apartments or to place your own ad on the paper.

Applying for financial aid for students and so on.

Need your advice as quickly as possible..

Thanks in advance..

From experience o....they hardly delay first flight for the day from Lagos to Abuja because of the business importance..... I hv flown Lagos to Abuja and Lagos to PH 7am flights on close to 10 occasions.... experienced just one delay for 30mins because of bad weather.

July 4th already! U need to proceed quickly bro. Book an interview with the Embassy immediately! Den, apply for ur Residence permit too, at least begin the application (if u haven't). Student housing is the best o if u're on a low budget. Errrrm, please ask specific questions, no vex... didn't really get the question u wanted me to answer. But I think there's no time again sha. If u book appointment now, u'll get an August date. Let's say dey approve ur RP in August, another 2-3 weeks for the card to be ready. So u need to act fast so u'd travel in Aug/Sept.

If I didn't answer ur question, please ask again and be more specific. cheesy

I know someone who used her church as sponsor. Submitted church's account statement with balance of 40m naira. U can plan with ur pastor or anyone else's pastor. This is Naija... they'll help if there's something they'd gain in return. Dunno sha.

Omo, make Migri no trace me come here see my scope come revoke my RP o. Well, I have explained this like 4 times. I used GTB and I stated that I had been running the account since January 2009, the funds were deposited in bits although in very quick succession. As at may 12, I had an acct balance of 1,600 naira only. May 13: 320k enter... may 14: 300k enter... like May 17 again, another 250 enter. The key's that my account statement is very eventful. Na 9 pages. I dey spend gan. Before that 1600 balance, I blew 500k in 2 weeks... and another 400k in 1 week... so, after the money I was depositing towards the 6720 euros, I was still spending out of it the same way I was spending in march and April. So, there wasn't really a red flag to show the money was put in my account to deceive them. They must have thought: this applicant na mad man o, him just dey spend money anyhow. E go sure for am, make we give am RP.

Another point, all the deposits were made by family members who share the same surname with me. ALL of them, the same surname!!! So, no red flag there again.

I think the most important part was my interview, if u've seen any of my previous posts, I was telling sirkezman that I believed in my ability to write convincingly and argue logically. Instead of writing the names of my sponsors, how much they had and why they were sponsoring me, I was telling them why I wasn't expected to provide such information and why it wouldn't be a big deal for me not to know those things because they are classified information.

I wrote: The scope of the term "large funds" wasn't indicated in this questionnaire but I'm going to use my discretion here. I'm being sponsored by family members who decided to "contribute small bits of the money so that it wouldn't be a big burden for anyone of them and also to ensure that similar amounts can be provided for me at anytime during the course of my stay abroad"and judging from the Machiavellian theory, I think the end should justify the means (balance of 1.7m when I submit) - they have and will continue to make money available to me without having to worry about spending beyond their means which would have been the case if I were being sponsored by Only one person... In view of the above, I don't think there's any large fund deposited in my account as the amount are small except the 320k paid in by my bro (I wrote his name and said I could guess his monthly salary after tax was like 250k) but I'd be willing to explain further if I am told the exact yardstick with which the "large funds" term is based. Etc sha.

I don't know if u get the scope. That's all I did.

And again, I submitted my last semester in uni result. 400 level 2nd semester, I had like 4As 3Bs and 1c, included my IELTS score of 8.0, and argued like a scholar. They must have just felt "this one na special breed". The person who made the permit decision na woman. Maybe she just wanted to have a feel of the African Mamba and wanted me there ASAP. Whatever worked, I don't know ooooo! I'm sha going to finland.

you are such a rare brillant and smart chap.

20th of July, send d docs by Monday unfailingly o and yes, u must also send the print out with the documents. 6720 x 224 is 1,505,280 naira. These people dey think in a linear way. If the money no reach, na straightforward denial (as is the case with most embassies - no be oversabi I dey do o... just saying). So, to be on the safe side, try to make the money reach. Concerning the correction of the passport error, I think it's somewhere on Migri's website that u can send them an email to correct it. Not sure. Just check. Other people here should contribute. But time don dey go sha, u need to hurry. Please, make ur money reach that 6720 o.

I am guessing IELTS is valid for 2yrs if I am not mistaken. Count from the day your score was sent to you till when you want to use it to apply again for admission. You will know if your score is still valid for usage or not.

btw other peeps will comment so refresh every 30 minutes for update info.

Then you have not read enough...70 percent of the thread is about the application process from the english language test to transcript issh, to UAF etc.
Some pages ago i gave a brief summary of the the application process. You need to take out time to read this thread, read about Finland in general, visit www.studyinfinland fi, visit the website of the schools and program you want to apply to and know the requirements. After doing that you can ask specific questions if u have challenges.
Peeps need to understand that they are making a big decision. You just don't come here and say i want to apply for so so and so... and expect someone that spent hours and even days researching and reading to just start typing....start from d website i provided in the sermon above....visit d website of d school and program you will like to apply to... check their english language test requirements etc...

Time has not changed.....

Lemme give u a brief on cost

You need to be able to raise 1.5M or get a sponsor to deposit 1.5M in ur account.

Test of english will cost btw 35K - 40K

You can write one out of TOEFL, IELTS and PTE Academic

Notarization of certificates will cost between 50 naira to 200 naira per page.

transcript cost varies per school

You also need to get an international passport if you don't have one already.

You need to send ur transcript and application package to the school..... i used DHL and it costs 13,400. So multiply that by the number of application you will like to send.

...So u need around 65K for pre admission cost for one program.

....After admission you will need the following
32K for insurance
67K to 72K for residence permit fees
9K to send ur docs to the finish embassy... i used DHL
other expenses....5K ( bank statement, scanning n printing cost)

....So u should b looking at around 110k for post admission cost.

In total budget around 170K for one program excluding cost of obtaining transcripts from ur University and sending to d school of ur choice.

Please ensure u have a way of getting 1.5M in your account with d required support documentation.[/quoteI]

This might help wrt cost
