Do you mean the Owa in Enugu State or Is there another Owa in Anambra?

Owa-Alizomor and Owa-Oyibu are two sister towns in Ika NE LGA of Current day Delta state.
We are Igbos with our Ika dialect.

No. Owa is in Ika Delta state. It's an Igbo speaking great town. I know of the Owa in Enugu too. Owa imezi in Ezeagu LGA, but that wasn't the Owa he was referring to there.

Some towns in Igboland share names. Eg we have Ogbaku in both Imo state and Enugu state. It just tells you that we are all related. One big family.

Ok... I thought it was Owa Imezi in enugu cheesy. Thanks

I thought it was Owa in Enugu. Maybe the Owa people in Enugu can trace their ancestry to Ika wink

i think youre the one tht needs to
study your history. onitsha wasnt always an igbo enclave. even the obi of onitsha pays homage to the oba of benin. atleast used to.
So zik wasn't Igbo?
Do you know that as much as you think Lagos is yorubaland, the word oba is Bini and has Bini linkage? That's why there is no oba in the rest of yorubaland.
Onitsha is an Igbo town pls, there wasn't an empire in the past called Igbo enclave, we never had one enclave but enclaves.

Nwanne, there's nothing like Anambra water board in real life. Landlords provide water for their houses.

I know, what prompted that was som1 said it's difficult to see a house in the east without a borehole so I was just letting him know most houses don't have boreholes in Abia, that we buy water there

Pls my bro I need someone to enlighten me about igbanke and delta igbos, can u?

I will try

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igbanke

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asaba,_Delta

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agbor

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anioma_people

This links will give you an insight.
Indeed the Aniomas have Bini influence in their culture maybe varying from 10% Bini 90% Igbo in Igbanke and Agbor to 2% Bini 98% Igbo in Asaba and Ibusa. The same way the Binis would also have Igbo influence in their culture but these influences have not been pointed out.

Have I ever mentioned that some communities that are direct neighbors with Benin city speak Igboid Ika?

For example, in our house, each flats has a toilet, bathroom and kitchen each inside it... Showers are being used in the bathrooms. Waters are being supplied by a machine powered-pump.
