Without enrollment extension, you will not make it for this winter since your enrollment deadline is 21st September, if the embassy unbanned you, you may not get another appointment because the embassy rule stated that if you miss your interview without initial cancellation you may not get another one, the embassy have already see you as unserious student, apply for enrollment extension and try your luck. If you re-apply without enrollment extension, they will make sure that they give you a date that is near to your deadline, embassies hate non appearance with passion because you have wasted one person slot and make them waste time and lose money, should you have cancel your appointment earlier, reapplication would have been easy for you

There is something known as a student applicant visa: it is for people who have applied for admission but are awaiting the offer and have a letter from the school that their admission is being processed. Someone on this group going to Hamburg used such a letter to book for the visa. If you can get hold of any such doc, then you can open the blocked acct and book immediately. Blocked acct takes about a month to open( I got mine in 17 days) and you can book for a visa even on the day you go to open the blocked acct.

TU Munich as far as I know have an online enrollment, so you don't have to be physically present when the semester resumes. This is an advantage for you as there are hardly any student visa slots currently at the embassy like some people mentioned in their experience.

As for a language visa, all the stories I have heard are of people who had their visa application rejected. The embassy will inform them that there are a couple of language schools in Nigeria and hence it isn't cost-efficient to come and learn German in Germany.

Is your MSc in German? If it is and you don't have the necessary Goethe certificate, then your application will be rejected.

In summary, apply for the student applicant visa and see what happens. If you get a date that is too late for resumption at Munich, then simply defer to summer semester. One thing is sure: By this time next year, you will be in Munich smiling . I'm also going to Munich (LMU though).

Oh I remember you!!!! I spoke with you inside the embassy.. I felt for you ... I was the guy that wore a blue long sleeve shirt. I even tried to tell you to see if they could help you photocopy in the building.. U said you tried.

Do not attempt to rebook before the 3 weeks ban.
Pls try to get an enrolment extension from your school.
Someone said something EXTREMELY VALID. even if you book after the ban. The likelihood of u getting a reasonable date is very very slim. Cs u are already on their database.
your offence to them is that 'you did not inform them a week before for a cancellation' that's how they will see it. Not even the photocopy excuse that one is another big yawa if you even attempt explaining.

This is the Time to smash your departmental secretary or course coordinator or registration officer of the school for an extension appeal with calls.. Yes even if it requires you been a nuisance.. *Reasonable nuisance so as to get a definitive reply * . Whichever is applicable. Pls exhaust out all you can do. You never can tell.. Because this life....

If I were you, I will just "bone" this summer semester and start preparing for 2016 winter semester in order to have a wide coast of schools that offer or is offering your lovely course to choose from. Next winter semester might seem too far, but going by some preparation you will still need to undergo: like gathering together all your documents, IELTS exam if you have not done it, organise your block account money or sponsorship,starting a German class if you are living around Lagos and so on. Before you put all these things together, winter is here. I'm suggesting this because during winter, you will have some schools to choose from unlike during summer which place all your eggs in one basket. Moreover, that course like I have said before on this platform will have a lot of competition. The school needs just 30 places(students) for the course and the school is not under uni-assist which will surely increase the number of applicants (talking from Manheimm experience even during winter). Also, this is the only school that will come up when you look up for summer admission in the departments of Engineering and ICT without German language requirement. I am not been pessimistic but I think the money you will spend on it can be channeled to next winter semester which is more feasible than this and at the same time cure the issue of changing school after your first year in Germany. This is my opinion and it is also an advise. Shalom

I must admit you were careless. I arranged my documents exactly as in the check list weeks before my interview. Originals and copies all complete in one envelope so there was no need looking for anything anywhere.
Away from judging, do you have another admission letter for another school whose deadline is farther away? Or no deadline at all? If yes. Then use that and fill another visa application form with the name of the school and attach the admission letter. That is of course after the 3 weeks ban

Oh Ogaga, I remember you well now. It was you who guided me on the correct size of the biometric photo as we were proceeding into the embassy. I am so sorry about this case. The advice given by Twinkle and Crowns is valid. You just have to wait: nothing can be done. I can't say that I know how you feel but I am also quite unhappy that it happened to you this way. Let us see what happens by tomorrow. Their response to your mail will help the house know how best to advice you.

P.S. Is there anything that can be done to check the excesses of those two Igbo men(no tribalism intended) at the embassy gate? I think that they do more harm than good: I saw one of them shouting at an elderly man and his wife, when he could have asked them to leave politely.

I now understand your situation, even at that whether you are going for Bsc or Msc you should have known the requirement and every procedure was posted here,even the screen shot of new arrangement pattern was posted here, I cant believe that a member of this thread can make this kind of mistake, but sha e don happen be say e don happen, my advice for you is that you should wait till after 20th then apply by apologizing to VO for not reading your visa appointment check list well and tell them the reason why you did not take your time to go through your check list before coming for an important interview, eg anxiety,health issues etc and tell them the date of your enrollment deadline,you have to approach your school for enrollment extension, if your school refuse, after 20th August, reapply and highlight your enrollment deadline after apologizing, don't write too much, organize your letter in a concise manner, then you pray about it sometimes student visa are granted within 3 weeks,you might be lucky

The problem you have is dat you didn't make plans for your interview at all ... Planning and Preparing for d interview is more than just cramming/jacking som course modules and germany nonsense....Arranging Ur documents and making sure u get to the embassy on time is also a big part of Ur interview. In my own case and I want to believe same for others who has had successful interviews (Eke04seven, obiwann and others), all required documents were arranged and several weeks before the interview and in d worst scenerio 2 weeks b4 interview. All I was doing was putting finishing touches to my arrangements. In fact, every week I cross-checked to make sure everything was in the right order and nothing missing. But the funny thing is dat every week as I check I always have something to correct and printed my application forms more than 10 times correcting the most minor issues(maybe because I have a small printer). A week to my interview, I was checking everyday, I decided to change the passports a week to my interview because of a minor error and to erase my doubts and even went with extra copies of both documents and passports..This are part of ur confidence building process.A day to my interview, I checked three times and even put a call thru to obiwann that had his interview earlier that week to erase all doubts. As from your statements U arranged Ur documents impromptu... I won't be surprised if U sed U arranged Ur documents a nite to Ur interview and they busted u without allowing to download everything Uve crammed ..Well, dats d reward for carelessness but I really wish u alot of God's favor in resolving Ur matter quickly and still meet up with the winter semester...Just believe...
I think Ur case should serve as lesson to all those preparing for their interview this week/month and I think the embassy is trying to make an example/scape-goat with Ur matter so that the news will spread wide and deter other un-serious appointment bookers dat they're damn serious with their time...

Our target should be 3 months (Usual time to grasp a language about 70% upward from research)

At the end of the second month, we will recommend novels to each other that most be finished. When we talk after the conclusion of the novel, either of us can summarize.

At the third month, we can relax with german movies (I know where to download such).. We should communicate more in this our new found love.

The happenstance has happened. Wipe those tears as they change nothing. Ask for enrollment extension from your school. Bug them more with calls than emails. Stop worrying about the bolded as you could get other admission(s) within these 3wks, with possible enrollment in absentia. It could be a blessing. And you should know by now that visa appointments are not on a first come, first serve basis. You might be scheduled for as soon as 1st week of Sept for your interview!

Follow the advise you have been given. TUM can be your main saving grace. They allow virtual enrollments. If you have TUM admission, that would be your best chance if your coordinator will not be able to do much for you.
Contact your coordinator to know if she/he can extend your deadline for enrollment or better still whether she will be able to contact the alien office to hasten things up when your interview is done! if alien office look into your matter eh! their response are almost immediate and so will the embassy follow their directive.
