iyaaliyah: You did not help your application by moving money around within your accounts with no reason. When you don't have any other source of income apart from your salary then moving money into that account and used the same account for visa application is a bad idea. What document did your husband submitted to support his application as a business owner? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Vicjustice: 9:49pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
Mubarak39:I asked because, i'm concerned that he might have gotten you into trouble as they often do, causing bans on innocent people. Are you sure that you're spared from the 10 years ban? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by iyaaliyah: 10:23pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
You didnt get me! Okay, I said I explained in the additional info the source of the extra monies that are not my salary. I put there categorically that 'by virtue of my job, I earn additional income apart from my salary and these are the money that enter into my account. Although this money varies i.e not constant and not a fixed sum. I did not even move money around, ple I do extra jobs for pay into these accounts. I stated further that the over 300k in my account is from the savings from these different extra jobs. My husband submitted personal tax clearance, registration Doc, personal account statement justwise: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 7:59am On Aug 21, 2015 |
iyaaliyah: Yes I get that but the deposit in your account is far more than your actual salary and so the source of that amount need to be supported with paper evidence. Your explanation did not convince the ECO and that is understandable. Your husband needed to submit his business account, personal account(savings or current), tax certificate(that will determine the state of his business) and business registration papers |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 8:03am On Aug 21, 2015 |
askari01: Are you running a registered business? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by OGreene: 9:52am On Aug 21, 2015 |
Oya calm down. Did you submit any evidence to back the extra jobs you do? Writing abt it alone isn't enof, anyone can claim anything. The ECO needs tangible evidence. My friend told me this, "UK visa application is easy. Anything you put down in the application form, include the document as evidence". Can't you see dey don't do interview much these days, so they decide based on what docs you submitted, dey won't even do u a favour of contacting you for further clarification. If you say you are a student, show dem sch papers; if you are a biz owner, show d registered docs; if ur sponsor is ur parent, show pics and anything that dt can back up everything in ur application...... bla bla bla iyaaliyah: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by iyaaliyah: 4:28pm On Aug 21, 2015 |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by ekpotek: 5:08pm On Aug 21, 2015 |
OGreene: If the organization is providing hotel accommodation, then the cost of accommodation to you is NIL. However, the organization must send you the copy of the hotel booking clearly showing that organization did the booking. Secondly, the organization must specify that they will provide hotel accommodation in a separate letter written by them to ECO. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by taolut: 9:31pm On Aug 21, 2015 |
Good evening everyone, I stumbled on this thread whilst threading online for some help and was hoping someone could please help me shed some light into this form me. I am a british citizen, live in the UK and work here as well as my husband and children, I have just invite pd my immediate younger sister to come visit and meet my littlw son, I have invited her to come celebrate my sons first birthday party. I supplied all my documents, my work documents with good income, my husbands pds documents and statements as well as mine, house documents, passports, pictures, name i even supplied my bank statements in Nigeria. My sister just finished serving and has a job offer which she is meant to start end of oct and she is meant to come for 4 weeks before she starts, she is married with 2 kinds and would be leaving her family behind, she included the evidence of her kids and letter from her hubby. I wrote a personal letter stating the relationship which is very obvious as we included all our pictures. Even baby pictures and I stated that I understand she is about to start work and that I would be responsible for every expenses of her trip, which I am capable of doing and that we would accommodate her, in fact I paid for her application fee with my card. To cut the long story short, she was refused today with the reason below You state that you are supported by your family and have no current income, I note that you submitted documents for your sponsors, I recognise that it is stated that your sponsor propose to bear the cost of the trip however I must take into account your personal economic and personal circumstances in nigeria when coming to my decision. On the basis of evidence provided you appear to have little source of personal income or asset in your country, in the light of all above, I consider that you have failed to show sufficient strong economic ties to satisfy me that on the balance of probability that you intend to leave the UK on the end of a short visit. This to me is very annoying as I do not think they expect someone who has just finished NYSC and waiting to start a new job to have. Lot of income, is having a sponsor willing to carry everything not good enough, are her kids that she is leaving behind not enough. I intend to send an email clarifying These assumptions but would really appreciate any help or insight on the right direction. Thanks in advance |

taolut: You have suffered because of the thousands that have overstayed in the past. I am sorry but poor, single and no job is never going to get a visa. There is no point in contacting the visa center or appealing. You must build up your strong ties to home and your proof that you will return after your visit. I am sorry but poor, single and no job is never going to get a visa. Wait a year or more and build up your bank and work service. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by iblaw: 9:09am On Aug 22, 2015 |
taolut: Sincerely to me you submitted a good application for your sister even with the fact that she is married with 2 kids, just finished NYSC and has a job that starts in October(i believe you submitted enough doc to support this) but the ECO used his/her discretion to decide otherwise, its a 50/50 probability. Writing to them is a waste, if you feel you have strong points and documents against the highlighted points of refusal then re-apply and pray you will not be donating visa fee to them because they are in the business of chopping people's visa fee in the name of balance of probability. Best of Luck |
