I have no special interest in quoting you but, I have to reply what I perceive as an error in your standpoint. No offence intended.
There is no wisdom in making appointments for a particular region of a country like Nigeria. During the last elections, an overwhelming number of southerners supported his candidacy and share his ideas. He would have done well by looking for able minds among such. The time of Obasanjo and others is gone, and nobody is saying Obasanjo should make nominations for him. It is unwise for the president to make other regions of the country feel insecure and marginalized, and that will undermine whatever he patriotic intentions he may have.
