Finally, you make actual statements, shedding the light on your unquestionable ignorance.

Firstly, The priest you mention had no contribution WHATSOEVER to "wireless telegraphy". We have Hertz & Marconi as the principal innovators to thank for that. The dishonest extent you're going to strengthen your propaganda is baffling.

Next, a fundamental component of current internet communication is the contribution of satellites in orbit. Developed based on principles conceived by Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and other physicists who have no regard whatsoever for your vain God.

I reiterate, the day you choose to begin to think for yourself will be the day you start to truly live.
My work here is done.

Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with him,   we will also live with him;if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him,  he will also disown us;
if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. 2 Tim 2:11-13

I observed the stations of the cross last saturday. when I got to the 11th station, the part that mentioned the indescribable pain that surged through Jesus's body when dropped into the hole dug for the cross with him hanging on it, I felt a sharp pain in my chest.
And since then, that has registered in my memory. Each time I remember those words, I feel the same pain.

Can someone tell me what that means??

Hmmm I don't quite understand it, but won't that pass as a sort of invisible stigmata?

Maybe the pain is there as a reminder to keep you conscious of the pains Jesus went through to save us, in all it shouldn't trouble you, if it is of God, it won't break you down no matter how long it stays. St Rita of Cassia got a physical one on the forehead too.

God willing, yours will phase out too.

Today we begin the Novena to St Vincent De Paul... The patron saint of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul...

A little intro about the society.

The St Vincent de Paul Society was founded by a 20 year old student named Frederic Ozanam over 170 years ago. It was established by like minded individuals who wished to put their faith into action. At the heart of the St Vincent de Paul Society is a profound sense of respect for the people we serve and a desire to learn from them. No work of charity is foreign to us. No person is alien to us. The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

Novena Prayer

O God you were patient with St. Vincent de Paul as you moved him from
self-centeredness to be centered on you. Help me through his intercession
to grant me this petition and to know that you will grant what I desire in
your own time (your intention here) . I thank you God for everything and I
will imitate St. Vincent de Paul in growing in holiness through prayer,
participation in the sacraments and service to my neighbor especially the
poor.
Amen.

FIRST DAY (Conversion)

Reflection on the life of St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul became a priest to better his social position and
even tricked a bishop to ordain him at the age of 19. He showed us that
no one is born a saint. We are all sinners on a journey to sainthood.
Reflection questions for your own life
What are the areas in my life that need to be purified and allow the light
of God to touch it? This can happen only with God’s graces. In what
ways do I call on God in my daily life for conversion? Do I see myself on
a path to conversion as a convert?

Pray the Novena prayer, an Our Father followed by one Hail Mary to
honor the Incarnation and one Glory Be to honor the Blessed Trinity.

Discussions for Day 1
Talk from St Vincent De Paul

Helping the poor

God has promised an eternal reward to those who would give a glass of water to a poor person. Nothing is truer than that… we can’t doubt it. And that gives us a great basis for trust. For if God gives a happy eternity to people who have given merely a glass of water to them, what will he not give to those who always have the zeal to help the poor, what will he not give to those who have sacrificed their resources in other to help the needy…. It’s beyond all imagining… We can be confident that we will be among those to whom he will say, “Come, blessed of my father, receive the kingdom prepared for you. (Mat 25:34)
Point of reflection
Do not be among those that will ask, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and refuse to give you food…

SECOND DAY

Reflection on the life of St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent encouraged people to grow in all the virtues but
especially that of simplicity, humility, gentleness, mortification (selfdenial),
and zeal for souls (love for others).

Reflection questions for your own life

Have I taken time to know what virtues are and to grow in them?
Can I take time to learn about the five virtues that were so important
to this great saint?

Pray the Novena prayer, an Our Father followed by one Hail Mary
to honor the Incarnation and one Glory Be to honor the Blessed
Trinity.

Talk from St Vincent De Paul

Christ in us

You shouldn’t assess anybody especially the poor once among us according to appearance or mental capacity, because very often, people scarcely show the appearance or capacity of rational beings. But, turn the medal over and by the light of faith you will see that the Son of God, who chose to be poor, is represented by these poor people… It’s great to see the poor if we view them in God and with the value Jesus Christ put on them. But if we look at them with natural feelings and from material point of view, they will seem contemptible.

Point of reflection

How do we see the needy around us?

Day 3

Be humble

“Learn of me”, He says, “to be gentle” (Mt 11:29). If it were St Paul or St Peter who, of his own accord urged us to learn gentleness from him, we could, perhaps dispense ourselves from it.  But it is the incarnate God, who came to earth to show us how we should be formed in order to be acceptable to His Father. It is the master of masters who is teaching us. Teaching us what...? “That I am gentle”

Point of reflection
Have you imitated Christ on this?

THIRD DAY
(Defending the Faith)

Reflection on the life of St. Vincent de Paul

During his lifetime, there was a heresy called Jansenism?) St. Vincent fought to defend the true faith even at the cost of losing friends and reputation. Reflection questions for your own life Our faith is challenged every day. Like St. Vincent de Paul, how do I live and stand for the truth? Am I afraid to create ripples, to lose friends or to experience financial loss?

Pray the Novena prayer, an Our Father followed by one Hail Mary to honor the Incarnation and one Glory Be to honor the Blessed Trinity.

FOURTH DAY

(Founder)
Reflection on the life of St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent cared for and worked with many groups. He lived his call to leadership by founding communities for religious and the laity. Reflection questions for your own life Each one of us is called to be a leader in our family, at work, in the neighborhood, wherever we find ourselves. How do I use my God given gifts to lead others to God?

Pray the Novena prayer, an Our Father followed by one Hail Mary to honor the Incarnation and one Glory Be to honor the Blessed Trinity.

Day 4
Have an open heart

When we encounter the poor, we should see things from their point of view so that we can share what they are going through. We should have the same approach as the great apostle who said, “I make myself all things to all men” (1 Cor 9:22). This will ensure that we don’t deserve the complaints which Lord, through one of the prophets made in the past. “I waited to see if anyone would show sympathy for my troubles, but there wasn’t anyone”. (Ps 68:21). For this reason, we have to try to soften our hearts and make them receptive to the troubles of others, and pray to God to give us a real spirit of mercy.

Point of reflection

Read 1 Cor 9:22
