have you read the "Revelation of the mass to Catalina by Jesus and Mary"? If not read it here

www.michaeljournal.org/holymass.htm

it's a personal revelation to Catalina ravis by Jesus and Mary. It talks about the spiritual order of happenings during the holy mass, and things we we ought to do before and after mass.

I rilly took mass serious body and soul after reading through.

I already saw the thread. The confusion is so deep...and it's worse because they think themselves wise.

Sometimes I just pity them. Imagine the amount of energy they spend rejecting the God they will eventually return and answer to.

Never is a man more manly than when he kneels before God.
In those words are mysteries embedded. He who kneels to God can stand up to any thing.

Let's put our kneels and change the world.

Re: A Thread For Catholics by SalC: 4:13pm On Oct 12, 2013
Mr. Aladin:

Ro 8:28 All things work together for good.
The third ground of encouragement to
saints in suffering is now given. To them,
under God's providence, all things, even
their sorrows, trials and persecutions, work
together for blessing. This precious
assurance is not to all mankind, saint and
sinner, but is limited to a class. To them that
love God. These are those who enjoy the
blessed assurance just given. Notice the
order in the Revised Version, which is the
order of the Greek, "to them that love God all
things work together for good". The love of
God is the very foundation of the Christian
life. See Lu 10:28 and Joh 14:23. The
expression, "them that love God", is
synonymous with "Followers of Christ". See
1Co 2:9 Eph 6:24 2Ti 4:8 Jas 2:5. The two
expressions "them that love God" and "the
called" are are different ways of describing
the same class. To them who are the called.
These have been called by the gospel and
have accepted the call. Many others are
called Jews and Gentiles, but only those who
hear and obey are chosen (Mt 20:16 20:14).
Paul uses the term of the latter class; those
who hear and obey. The evidence that we
are "the called" is that we love God.
According to [his] purpose. This call was
purposed from the time that God promised
a Deliverer of the fallen race (Ge 3:15).
Quite aptly put.
Grace and love to all, immense benefit to all who love him in return.

The humility of our blessed mother even now keeps me astonished. Kneeling behind the priest during consecration, her explanation is a challenge to us the pilgrim church.

Don't ignore little kind gestures.

Thank you sister, for you compliments, your company and your contribution to this fraternal communion.

I hope I'm forgiven.

seconded!
Our priests posess more grace than we can ever imagine, their consecrated hands are not ordinary.
Another part that moves me most is the fact that at every mass Christ crucifixion is made present (not crucified again and again) but we are taken back in time to his ONE sacrifice on the cross as he pleads, FATHER FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY NO NOT WHAT THEY DO.
It was also interesting to learn that during consecration, Christ is the::
1. Priest
2. Altar
3. Sacrifice
verily verily, we must prepare ourselves worthy of celebrating these sacred mysteries.

To prepare ourselves to celebrate those sacred mysteries we should examine our lives and strive to do God's will.

MORNING OFFERING/ PRAYER (GMT+1)
In the name of the Most Holy Trinity, Father +
Son, and Holy Spirit, I begin this Day of the
Lord. I offer all my prayers, petitions, praises
and adoration to You this day in union with
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the
world. Let the words of my mouth and the
many intentions of my heart be acceptable to
You. As many as will go to Your Sanctuary this
day, bless us with the joy and blessing of Your
divine Presence. May we continue to live in
the salvation You have made known to us. At
the end of this day, give us the grace to sing a
new song of joy to You. This we ask through
Christ our Lord. Amen.

Rev Fr Felix Onemheghie OP of St. Dominic, Yaba.

His parents were born Catholic but werent practising when he was young. He was inspired to be a practising Catholic by an aunt. He wasnt even receiving communion until he was 15. He had to run away to seminary because his father wouldnt allow.

Recently, he wedded his Father and his partner. Powerful testimony.

A Father who was such a bad Catholic he didnt encourage his children in the faith ended up being wedded in the Church by his own son.

That's a good one...

Reminds me of one Father Emmanuel Ofoligwe whose father was a dibia and swore that he will never be ordained.
