IF GEJ can claim igbo (Ebele) to get Igbo votes why can't Dakuku? cheesy
Igbo didn't vote for GEJ because of the "EBELE" or "Azikiwe" in his name, they voted someone who they believe could've done a better job. For dakuku, he's already a failure.

It doesn't matter , if Wike loses to the APC you're still in problem because Rivers State would be made so ungovernable that your shops will remain locked permanently and if he wins by you sitting on the fence then you're fate is sealed, either way you've got no much choice here - Go figure......
that is not my business maybe we can talk about that in another thread. Pls stick to the topic.

I see. You are pained because of the IPOB protest in PH.. Most of the protesters are riverians...
The names of the 20 people arrested by the police shows that most of them are non-Igbos...

Nigeria - Former Rivers State governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has accused Mr. Nyesom Wike, of diverting a N45bn loan taken by his administration.

rotimi amaec.jpg

“I borrowed N300bn and I paid N245bn back and I left about N15bn. But now, they are not borrowing to pay contractors. Rather they are borrowing for themselves," he said on Sunday.

“Borrow to pay contractors not for your purse. They have borrowed N45bn and nobody is seeing it. If you put N45bn in the state economy, the state will be bouncing. They will employ more workers, pay them and you will see things working.”

“It is those roads that I have done that they are driving on. The stadium road was done by me and they are driving on it. I did underground gutter, but they are building gutter and covering it.

Reacting, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the State Governor, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, described the allegation by Amaechi as malicious and spurious.

Lol! So it's now by force for Ndiigbo to support rivers people in their internal elections.

Dakuku is a nice guy, he has no problem with Ndiigbo, he is Amaechi disciple, and under Amaechi, SE didn't have any problem with Rivers. Infact under Amaechi, Abia was able to recover her oil wells erroneously ceded to Rivers, Amaechi moved on and didn't take his frustrations on SE settlers in Rivers state.
If Dakuku wins, he will be eager to suck up to Ndiigbo, because he will still need our numbers in 2019.

You see, for a politician, it's all about elections, the end of one election marks the beginning of preparations and strategies to ensure victory in the next election.

Wike is a good guy too, he is no fool, if he manages to win this particular battle, the APC will still be hot on his heels, in preparation for 2019 elections, he wouldn't want to alienate Ndiigbo in Rivers, he is a thorough breed politician and knows the importance of numbers in politics, and with the APC controlling the rigging apparatus in Nigeria currently, Wike Will know that he will still need Igbo votes in the future, as rigging is no longer an option.

So, in essence, the scenario you painted is juvenile, and out of touch with present and future realities.

Dakuku or Wike, Ndiigbo in Rivers will be fine.

And neutral we must remain.

Let the truth be told. It was even under Amaechi that the Port Harcourt / Owerri express way, was dualized and connected to greater P/H. Amaechi conceived the greater P/H idea and gave our forgotten Egbema and other parts of Rivers state a thorough facelift. Amaechi's major offense was his supposed battle against Patience Jonathan. The rest is now history.

Ndigbo should avoid characters like you that has constantly made more divisive statements and threads on this forum more than any other person when it comes to the SS and SE and I employ on all Igbos in this forum to ask this man called 'Pazienza' what does he and his cohorts stand to achieve by making divisive threads on this forum when he's aware of the frosty relationship between the Igbos and the SS region -

Why would an Igbo man with the interest of the Igbos at heart like this man is claiming to have, yet he's making statements that would outrage other minority groups in the same region ,is this man a true representation of the people's yearning and aspiration in achieving their dreams?

Why can't he make threads that will foster unity and oneness instead they are specialists in making threads that will pitch the Igbos against their SS neighbors.

It is unfortunate that most educated Igbos in this forum are still falling for your hollow and parochial preaching Mr Pazienza , a preaching of love for the Igbos while instigating the same people against the Igbos.
I call on Igbos to go through this man's posts and peruse the content of his hate-filled messages and lies even as he has succeded in masking his true intent but behind all that show of love for the Igbos is a veiled agenda and what he stands to achieve I do not know.

Igbos in this forum should take it upon themselves and go through this man's thread and see how he's has spent almost years here creating these threads while deliberately making provocative comments to destroy whatever unity that is left and only to turn around and cry ''Oh they will never like us'' .This is time the time to open your eyes and know the real enemies of Ndigbo and not the enemy you all love to blame who doesn't exist

The ball is in your court.

Nwannaa, thank you.

Know that when we say "rivers people", we mean every one else in Rivers state except the triad of Ndoni( to some extent) - Egbema- Oyigbo( Asa and Ndoki).

So, don't feel offended when we speak about "rivers people". You are not one of them. You are Igbos.

You are right about Amaechi, he is a Rivers man, just like Wike, and none of them have done Ndiigbo any wrong.
So there is basically no reason for Ndiigbo to stand for or against any of them.

We just observe them from a distance, and congratulate any Victor between two of them. And make sure we shut them up any time they try to claim they are Igbo, or involve us in their mess by tactically reminding them that they are not.

It's frustrating when an illiterate man calls himself Rivers man yet he can't even spell the 'Rivers State' correctly.

Let them keep deluding themselves but I have told them - During the rerun they should lock their shops and sit indoors until the madness is over because any attempt to spite Wike ,then someone will pay that price the way he can only imagine.Army or no army we will beat the APC without any external help and if the army wants to be used in rigging election and start to misbehave then they would be made to understand that violence speaks no particular language and has no particular uniform.
