Numerous traditional wedding pix wit d guy even kissing.and when u confronted the woman, she says the wedding was not real but only arranged coz of some travelling plans.she did not say this b4 u married her ooo.and she kept the pix and brought them to ur matrimonial home.

That's the mistake you have made on your own side. The fact that her parent be clergy doesn't make her a godly person.

Look this is marriage, no turning back. You haveto take it llike that. You are the husband now. You have the key of your marriage in ur hands. Even tho she's wrong but still you can make your marriage a good one. You can make her see that she has done a very bad thing.


Pls, no advice will be enough for you on NL. You should see a marriage counselor as soon as possible. Please do that.

I beg to disagree with you. if her hands are clean she has no skeleton in her cupboard then why hide it, what truth is she afraid of saying. All this should have been trashed out before marriage and hubby shouldn't have found out on his own. except it was a movie script she was acting out then no big deal. she has a lot of explaining to do.

Nigerians can be so religious yet so dishonest. I am worried that faking a marriage for Visa doesn't seem like a big deal anymore.
I would be more concerned about the kind of character that means the end justifies the means even if it means doing something wrong and illegal.

It is a very big deal, she tried to twist the system and she is trying to twist you. She has a huge character flaw; she can do anything to get what she wants which is worrisome

The worst part she is not even remorseful. My guy you have to dig deep into this. if possible get across to this man and find the true situation of things. Your wife is deceitful and I dont think you would want your kids to be tutored by such a woman. Deceitful women are very dangerous to live with, they can kill.

Very wrong on all levels regardless of the reason she did it. If however you are a Christian I'd encourage you to forgive her. Even at that, you need to call out your parents in law especially FIL on this since your wife is not seeing any negative thing in it! Ask them that if they found out you were married to some one else real/imagined and later came to marry their daughter of they'd like it. Make them understand how hurt you are by this action and bury the matter after apologies.
I think is very unreasonable of your wife not to see anything wrong with her actions and even to the point of bringing the pics could it be she's still attracted to him?

Take her and the pictures to her parents house for an explanation. They should convince you and your people in very strong terms and with concrete evidence that that marriage has been annulled.

If she had a legal wedding, with documents to proof the first wedding, it doesn't matter whether she did it to arrange travelling for someone, you are at liberty to divorce her.

According to the law of the land, she has committed a criminal offence worth 21years behind bar.

Don't take her explanation as the truth. Get to the bottom of it and do the needful.
