What does he need a big bank for? I will urge you to look for a bank with no charges or access fees.

That will depend on your location. Just remember 'big' banks typically have charges-for account maintenance(if you don't always have some cash in the account), returned checks, ATM, overdraft etc. Smaller banks waive a lot of those and have lot of affiliation within themselves. That might be a good place for you to start.

go and check the bank. Use google, it will help you always. You don't need to ask people for simple information Google will feed you in just few secs. You have a phone, simply call the banks and make enquiry to be sure before going there. It is as simple as that.

Please my school said I should be in school by Jan 12th and I received my i-20 on Friday. I just applied for my interviewed and was given Jan 12th. I was denied August when I wanted to go during the Fall semester. I intend applying for emergency request but it says it is limited only to applicants who have not been refused a visa within the last six months at either the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
Please what do I do?

As at today first available date in Lagos embassy starts from December 7th while Abuja is January 12th.

Can't you try Lagos

They have started. Just that they will want you to show your original intl passport, while Ecobank is fine with a photocopy of the information page of the intl passport. The guy that made the payment for me had a copy of my intl' passport. Whoever that wanna pay should first get a trusted person that can pay for him from the states, seme border should be the alternative option.

Roger that!!!

I heard the student visa interview is done everyday but does that mean I can book on anyday I wish and be given or I need to wait for available space which may affect my departure day and other things cos am still waiting for my i-20 to come and also am supposed to resume January 7. Also what do you guys think is the best time to deadline for booking of the interview for someone who anticipates going January 7. Thanks all
.
i would advise that you wait for your i20 to come, but in the meanwhile u can mail your school to expedite action on the i20. presently regular available dates now are as from January 12th. but if you get your i20, book an appopitment and after that apply for an expedited appointment, this you will do while attaching your i20 as proof to show that ur interview date is later than ur date of resumption. they will gladly open up closer dates for u.
thanks. i hope this helps u if you havent gotten help already.
