One thing i know is that Nigerians spend a lot of money abroad. From looted money to salary being spent abroad.i think this move reduces such but at the end of the day, its going to always affect a lot of people

The new CBN policy is no more news.
Read details here: https://www.nairaland.com/2434811/cbn-restricts-use-naira-denominated#35603203.

However, as a Nigerian in diaspora, i want guys to advise what avenues can i explore to access my funds. I am currently schooling in South Africa and my monthly salary is my major means of survival. My naira Master card has been my regular shopping partner.
Smart guys in the house, what options do i have??

Desperate times, desperate measures.

I suggest you find a Nigerian or South African who has large-enough bank funds in both Nigeria and South Africa.

You transfer Naira to his/her Nigerian bank account, and the person gives you the Rand-equivalent in South Africa.

All the best.

I expected a valid point from you,but you saying only gullible and corrupt minded are making noise makes you the most gullible person.

How do u expect those who school abroad to cope?

How do u expect those into mini importation to survive?Dont tell me we need to start using our raw materials for production, cause is just defenseless.

Or do you not understand the topic here?

Go to school, you refuse.

which product exactly is "made in Nigeria".
before such policies should be implemented how about industrialization first, development of schools, restructuring salary structures for government officials(senators, president and governors).
Don't be blind by sentiments, the masses are suffering.
what industry are we suppose to patronize, kuli kuli from the north, teachers from the west or noise makers from the south.

We already have a minimum amount we can take monthly, and to me that's okay...

Total restriction is wrong. If you are sponsored by someone in nigeria, how do you get to receive funds?

Transfer the funds into someone's account in naija and have them send it to you via western Union. You might also consider buying paypal funds, not sure if paypal is used in South Africa.
Good luck.
You cannot send Western Union from Nigeria. You can only receive.

thank you jare..... Whether made in Nigeria product will appear by itself overnight?

Manufacturers need power to work, are they to depend on petrol or diesel to power generators? The fuel sef is not available, which made in Nigeria product can be manufactured without constant power supply?

Seriously this issue is giving me a real big concern.
Is this a POSITIVE or NEGATIVE change?

Lalasticlala....

You stupidity and ignorance no get part 2,firstly ask yourself.

Can you bring america master card or visa and use it here in nigeria.

Can you open a bank and deposit naira in america or other european nations.

Can you use america bank master card and shop here in nigeria,if you can answer those questions first I will help you reset your brain.

N.B there are many loop holes that this current administrator is trying to block since its now paramount that both yam and goat cannot live together, instead let's keep the yam from the goat or both kept apart.

Its a temporary policy, most banks are paying too much for your silly amount you withdraw in another country or your idiocy 5dollar hosting you are paying

It is NOT a solution to the wider problem of the Nigerian Naira.

What I offered was a practical, temporary fix to the OP's particular situation.
