Well based on a layman's analysis and previous situations, i'd suggest you pray they quickly approve and allocate National budgets at the Higher Legislative Chambers. The military arms sure need to allocate funds for their respective programs of which recruitment happens to be one. I might be wrong though.

the delay has nothing to do with budget, d exercise started last year so it is reasonable to understand that it has everything is in place, Remember that 5k u collected.....Am certain it cannot be budget only logistics this is the military gentlemen everything has to be orderly.

U made mention of logistics? Wat logistics are u talking about. We are the second set of DSSC that is using ONNE for camping. Other set did there interview camp in Borokiri in PH. So Logistics is hightly in place.. Then u said orderly. This is military Bro. U dont need to make anything orderly. Orderly in the military is not something they do, cos everything take shape by itself. Orderliness is to the military already.
Lastly the exercise started last year wat they plan ti spend last year hv already be exhausted. This is new year and they will be no DSSC recruitment this year so they hv to know wat is allocated to them before they release the list. They dont want to release 3 per state and dere is no funding but Sources said its 2 per state.. But some state will get 3 and 4

In case it comes out in March, perhaps they want to commission DSSC Course 23 along side the current Midship men this year September. NDA usually commissions its cadets every September. Given the time frame of the training, and when the Midship men will be passing out, the Navy may not want to have two presidential commissionings within short intervals. I have seen it happen before.

They can have as many commissionings as are necessary. Last year, DSSC 22 was March, SD 14 was around June, and 62RC was September. So guys just relax. D list will come out when it is time. Speculation will not help anyone.

Training duration varies. DSSC21 was around 11 or 12 months totally. 22 was 9 months. Previous sets were 6 or 7 months. Na anything Wey oga at the top like Na him Dem go do. Just budget 9 months for this one.

I get ur point, it was what happened with the Army SSC last year, they started training Jan. 3rd and passed out with the Regular officers on Sept. 12. It cud be the plan, we can never tell. Nigerian Navy is really unpredictable especially with this recruitment stuff.
Last year... most of us were saying 15 per state, what happened?? It surprised all of us when we saw 8 per state but the good thing was our names were there though we know some still came via text.
I remember around Oct, Nov Last year, some of us here had locked up and some even said the result would come out in 2016, what happened?? They shocked us with the result on Nov. 14.
In summary, they will do whatever they want to do, was it not navy that shared 5k to all of us?? I didn't expect that, I guess that was unpredictable too... lol. Whether budget or not, if they are ready, they will release it. The wait is difficult but the only thing we can do is to keep praying, it isn't easy. Even 2 per state we are thinking, they could still shock us and make It 4 or 5 depending on strength(number) of candidates in every state after medicals and m saying it, it cud be more, they are unpredictable. I wish all of us here the Best.
At the interview, the only predictable thing was that I cud predict the food timetable... lol(Beans,Eba and Rice)
On a more serious note, the only predictable thing about the navy is that they are unpredictable.

Is true dat awaiting result brings anxiousness, bt at d same time lets use our time wisely to pray continuously until d result is out. If God hav destined u to be there nothing can stop you. Frm my side i heard the nav sec submitted d list to the CNS awaiting final approval. Therefore any moment frm now to next week Friday d list might be out. Jst keep feet and get set to report as a cadet. We all shall make it by the grace of God.

Waiting for this list is like waiting for the coming of the lord. Nobody knows the time. All you can do is to pray and physically prepare. Peeps will be given 16days max to report. That is not enough time to start getting into shape. Start now to exercise. All d best.
