Quite blank on this! Wish one had a very clear idea of what the refusal is all about. Will advise you still do some soul searching and better preparations (communication and body language may have even handed you that result too), give it some bit of time particularly against the background that oftentimes we are made to see that 90 days isn't even enough to change the circumstance laced into the previous interview you just had, what led to that result may just come to you as a flash soonest especially as you keep following discussions on here. My wife and our two kids secured B1/b2 visa for vacation March 2015 and were scheduled to travel in August. This didn't happen because we started building our dream home and committed funds for that purpose in so much that we forgot to set aside funds for our vacation.
Around September 2015 my wife took in and I was angry because we had decided on having only two children. I let it go because I love her.
Now we plan to vacation around April because the house is almost completed.
We also want to have our baby during this time in the US. She I due around June. I have a b1/b2 visa myself.

Please advise if She needs to do a change of intent letter or notice considering the circumstance and her visa type.

Lol! Good question to ask with BOTH being emphasized. Well, if there are worries on how it may pan out depending on who goes in amongst both with the children, let the much grinded one do. I don't really think there will be issues here though. Just in case they need effective control and organisation, I think that should be a good reason for both to go in

A frnd posed a question to me.And I decided to throw d question to the etire house.He said,he had been to turkey in d year 2009,begium 2010 and Rwanda2008 respectively.But all these visa were on his old passport that he misplaced,though he had police report as well as court affidafit to back his claims. He got another passport in d year 2013 and he hasn't travel with d new passport.He had filed Ds 160 form bt yet to be submitted, contemplating whether to fill those countries as countries visited bfore?His fear is how can he justify he had visited those countries without d passport that got lost?can court affidavit be enough to proove?And he was made to understand that those VO dnt normally check document.In dis kind of situation what can he do?

Lol. Dat 'vex' resemble part of the film well well jare! But I think there isn't much issue as long as it is clear you didn't misrepresent on the pregnancy issue during interview (August interview and September pregnancy no be the same na, stuff happens, plans do change too). Go ahead and liaise with the Doc/Hospital and be prepared as someone coming to the US for birthing purpose, write them to be all clear if you will. My only reservation is that, are you all going on the "birthing" trip by extension too? Omoshe oo

Also would be sharing my colleagues transcript..... My advice helped her get her visa after 2 previous denials. she
'll be attending the same training as myself in Vegas and so she confided in me when she realized i already got my visa.

i advised based on my experience here not to lie about her previous denials and to also dress her job role, look at the VO without fear,
i told her never to employ the service of a tout/agent which she did the 1st and second time, i begged her to ensure she does show that
her situation had changed and since she's currently engaged she should let the VO know all of this, all of which she did.

Also told her about talking professionally about the training and never to mention the word conference while there. worthy to note
is that 4 other of my colleagues all went to the embassy same day and for same reason but were all denied except for her, she heard all 4 of them shouting conference and that was the last they said when the VO announced "Sorry, i cant grant your visa at this time try blah blah blah..... time". (truth is that.... VO's now understand that people come with frivolous conferences to get visa and most likely don't want to hear more when they say the word conference blah blah blah..... MY ADVISE IS PICK OUT WHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN FROM THE CONFERENCE OR THE SESSION YOU ARE ATTENDING AND MAKE IT THE REASON YOU ARE TRAVELLING e.g VO - why are you going to Seattle, YOU - to attend the Digital and Augmented Reality Media Summit there)


as soon as she got out of the embassy she thanked me cos she was the last of the 5 to be interviewed and she saw the transcripts of
all 4 colleague.

The vo never made mention of her previous denials and so she smiled to the office and gave me a super HUG.

to all those who still come here to ask dumb questions.... the truth is when i discovered this thread i never asked any question till i went for my interview, all i did was read from the 1st post to the last post, it took me 2 months, sometimes im in lagos traffic driving and reading nairaland. it was that bad......

anyway.... i have given back and this long post will most definitely help one wise brother/sister out there.

After been scammed or not entirely scammed, i finished all the online ds 160 form filling + Visa Payment via online because i use Gtbank, so everything was relatively easy with house help off course, so when i got to appointment booking on 6th feb, i saw tons of available dates on same febuary, even 10th feb, i was surprised, was thinking available dates will be like a month or two ... Anyways, i haven't printed anything & my interview is month end.. Is the Confirmation Page
compulsory to print? must i go with it? my Hotel Reservation is a week even if i fill in 21 days, because i think would like to change hotel , hope no problem in that area? Again , must i book a flight with a return ticket? Thanks in Advance

1) DS 160 Confirmation page
2) Appointment Confirmation page
3) GT bank receipt

you can leave your passport at home.... it's not compulsory
they'll give you the visa on your palm or they will email it to you. (LOLZ, on a lighter mode)

Since you paid online you could get a screen grab of the final receipt page that was issued you online by GTbank.

also dont forget to go with a passport photograph (Just one)
those touts outside the embassy car park will try to confuse you that you need 2 passports
its a blatant lie (As i approached the embassy on my interview day they played the prank on me)

It's past 5 years travel history they ask for normally. Adding more than that isn't bad though
How old is the said police report and affidavit? No ticket or Boarding pass stub available? Nothing left of the trip at all? AP may be it at best! The person in question may even know these places and describe if asked, that doesn't mean he entered those countries legitimately, he may as well be an overstayer or a deportee for what this discourse is worth. These concealments of course when discovered will lead to refusal

The kids are two boys and it might be tedious for the mother to effectively control and organize them. She had travel experience with the two of them and I and my wife had travelled together. My intention to go with them is to coordinate the boys not to stress their mum so she won't appear stressed for the interview.
