I'm sorry for the inconvenience(s)

Is Canada easier going through an agent.

I also would like to know how easy it is to transfer to a US uni from Canada (going for nursing)

My love for the states is indescribable Lol
Thanks a lot
Agent? why do folks go to Agents? why not go and apply for every thing yourself? trust me An agent will not do any thing different appart from take money from you for some applications that are meant to be free. infact Agent has no power to Authorise or influence Any form of application.

The bold part above from one of the interviewees is the reason many immigrants fail.

I can't emphasize this enough. If you're a new immigrant, STAY AWAY from people who think like this, or you will end up in lowly jobs for life.

The mentality of "this is the only thing available for people like us" is dangerous, defeatist and should be avoided actively.
bro this is very true.even in New york city some people believe the only thing they can do to.survive is a security job thus keeping two jobs, working 80hrs a week before they can meet end means...the best advice to new immigrant is to avoid such at all cost, because someone might end up liked them

No it is not typo. I receive £2700 into my Bank every Friday as an accountant. There are opportunities if you have the right skill to sell. You can realise your dream outside Nigeria if you partner with God

This is the problem: so Jean Charles de Menedes is to blame for his own execution in Stockwell? And when South Yorkshire police lied for 27 years to cover up blatant injustice, police are not to blame. Trust me, the British society is a broken society and virtually every level of it is institutionally racist. Most of us don`t know it because Nigerians only mind our own business. Did you hear of the guys that worked at the 2012 Olympics and yet to collect their wages up until today? Well, they are all from South-East Asia.
Im am seriously struggling to understand the relevance of all what you just wrote to this argument, what part of LONDON ARE YOU FROM, and why just chat about stuff you heard as hear say, who works and don't get p aid i n London?? unless you do not have a bank account.

I see your frame of mind bro no offence, you are among the % who tie themselves to menial jobs no offence, tell me how you can tell a person who do not speak or write or understand English to administer medication to a patient, or give him an approved plan to do survey on, or work you tax return? or type up a report?Must we all be labourers? must we all work in the construction industry?

Ahaha I am assuming it's a typo £540 per day or week
Its no typo my brother. I leave in the uk and have worked as a Software Engineer since 2006. I don't reside in London as a matter of choice.

I stopped working as a permanent staff as a Manager and Team Lead with Bupa. I've since worked strictly on contract bases and will not accept anything less than £450 per day from any body.

Recruiters don't have to see your face before submitting your cv to a company and you even get jobs based on references and telephone interviews without any face to face appearance. Most of the time, you join the project to fill some gaps or solve some problems so there's little room for discrimination as the scope is always very clear.

I've had contracts paying £600 per day so the £540 per day is even not the highest you can get. Just go to www.JobServe.com and search for jobs in some sectors (especially finance). I've met Nigerians earning as much as £1000 per day. So, just like you have Nigerians struggling to make ends meet here for a lot of reasons, you also have some sending all their kids to private schools (with school fees getting up to £4000 per term).

The problem I have with other European countries is their relatively low wages when compared to the UK. I'm not sure of the situation in other sectors but I don't think any IT professional will regret coming here if you know your stuff.

i am not going to mention what i do for a living as is it is not rellevant (definitely not a menial job) i was just Elaborating on how the poles and Romanians have taken over menial jobs from Africans.
