naturalwaves: It was because of his LOOSE talk that he was given the PROMOTION of super minister at the federal level, not so BTW, he is no longer in charge of Lagos he is now in charge of the whole country so he should EXTRAPOLATE the magic he had then to the whole country. See, simple as ABC. Anyway, we know Barawo Raji FashOle, BRF is just a smart rogue who will deny anyone & anything to keep on LOOTING our treasury. It does not matter whether it is power, fuel price or housing. APC = All Promises Cancelled!!! www.nairaland.com/attachments/3115090_seunoloketuyi1223747310596353674000681876567738n_jpegf23910bd963a3dbb9d74ad4621bdda8b www.nairaland.com/attachments/3252479_img20160103103227_jpegc267729d8628fd994230adedd6d053b8 |

SLIDEwaxie:I wonda the level of dumb people we have. Has PmB invested a dime yet..what Percentage of power did P MB meet? how much has he invested to yield the result ? People are too partisan to reason objectively..no wonder the highest power generation is equal to zero power to the people.. in Developed societies, those who voted you into power are even more critical of the govt than those who didn't. ...because is like employing someone..u demand more from him to justify his being there.. who criticise Van gal more ..are they Man U board and fans or those who didn't we should learn to criticise more of those we elect ...once u are elected then no more partisanship for now APc and PmB are doing bad..they should know and wake up... |

Boss13:Don't say what you do not know. He achieved so much in lagos except if you were blind or being stewpud is just an hobby to you. Boss13:If you cannot provide evidences to back up this claim, just keep quiet. Boss13:..Because leadership is more of a strong will and decision making rather than expertise. There are experts that can brief one at any time and do the job. All what is needed is direction ,decision making and follow up. Boss13:Prophet of doom. You lots always forget that you are first Nigerians before anything else. It is hight time you got over the election loss. |

anonimi:I wanted to engage you initially till I saw the second picture you posted. So, you do not know that the price of crude oil varies inversely as the price of PMS. The higher our crude oil is being sold, the lower the price of pms. If we make so much profit from selling crude oil at a high price, pms will be cheaper and not the other way round. |

naturalwaves: Is that how it works in the UK, Canada, USA etc where our fellow citizens are praying & fasting to go and be UNDER-employed? When crude oil prices go up, the price of PMS goes down? Obviously Barawo Raji FashOle, BRF does not know that hence he was lambasting the past federal administration to reduce the fuel price since crude oil price had gone down, abi www.nairaland.com/attachments/3608065_image_jpeg_jpeg6f95b5e7a24ad4fc0808d6698fd37362 |

SLIDEwaxie: See you mouth...! So because they hit 6000MW with the power plants built by GEJ's government, we won't hear again. Why couldn't they maintain the success? How come for the first time in Nigeria's history, we recorded zero (0) MW under this Minister of darkness? So pipeline vandalism started in this administration, abi? They didn't vandalise in Obj, Yaradua and GEJ's time, shey? You're just not serious. Mambila HEP Station project has been in the pipeline for several years. Let's see if this unserious government will kick-start it, though that's like asking Buhari to declare his assets publicly. I mean, it's impossible! |

anonimi:If there is a very high demand for crude oil world wide, the price will rise so high and we will make enough profits hoping that we will not buy the refined form in that way. The prices would have varied directly but unfortunately, we are not in the position to determine the price particularly when USA stopped buying our crude but we need the refined version. If I have a raw material for example, and you have a factory where you majourly use my raw material for a finished good. I sell my raw material to you at a reasonable price and then when you brought your finished goods, you made it so high. I can easily decide that since that is the game you want to play, whenever you come for my raw material, I will so much hike the price too and the game continues because we are both market determiners. Now, if you now decide to boycot my raw material and go for it somewhere else, I will be helpless when you bring the much needed finished goods as you now have a very big advantage ......That is the story of the Nigerian crude. Moreover, if he says pms should be sold lower, it does not necessarily imply that it should be sold lower because the prices of crude oil has gone down.If I say, at 40 dollars per barrel, pms should sell at 100 naira per litre for example, this does not mean that I meant it should be sold at that price because the crude oil price crashed. It is a view. Can you provide a link where he said it should be sold at a lower price BECAUSE CRUDE OIL PRICE CRASHED? If you can do this then you win.Waiting..... |

anonimi:Let me check. Be right back! * Modified This excerpt was taken from the same writeup of that news. “I understand that I am not an economist; they (Federal Government) are the economists. But I have some logic and common sense to ask critical questions. “For instance, if one buy flour at N10 per kilogram, and the bread was sold at N1 per loaf. If the price of flour drops, the price of the bread should also change,” Fashola added. - See more at: http://www.elombah.com/index.php/reports/7242-oil-slump-bring-down-fuel-price-immediately-fashola-to-fg-archive#sthash.8cgewX9N.dpuf ...Based on the excerpt, we can say Fashola did not rule out the possibility of errors being in his thoughts. His expression was a mixture of assumption (not being an expert), query and some little harmless politics. If you finish reading the right up, you would see that it was reported that he URGED the FG to...................... That is more or less a constructive criticism and not an outright assertion. cc:anonimi 1 Like |

I have been off nairaland for a long while since I lost my device but I just had to look for a means to post this after seeing this caption on the front page. The level of deceit in this present government is unprecedented. I remember vividly, clearly the day Fashola said and i quote- "Any responsible/serious government should provide power within six months." I myself was also moved with emotion hearing that. Nonetheless i knew better. People will say anything and everything to get what they want. It was during an APC town hall meeting/campaign in Benin. I remember Osibanjo was standing right beside him, to his left to be exact, nodding in agreement. Adams Oshiomole was also seated amidst other APC members. What I can't really remember is the tv station that aired the event. A true test of integrity is being accountable and keeping to your word. Clearly Fashola must have said that in a state of euphoria in a bid to sway the people in favor of APC. The little admiration i have left for him is now questionable. Now the buck is at his table and he now realizes that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. APC- all talk, no action! |
