Many people have used form A to make payment at Doctores Para Ti. Best bet is to use a different bank since Form A has always been accepted in El Paso.

Good morning all oh,

@justwise, sabi brothers and sisters, uncles and aunties that have been doing great job on this thread... God bless una brain o.
This is my first time of posting on this thread and i have a lot of questions.

Firstly, i work in Ghana, and working as a diplomat there. Also, my hubby is based in Nigeria and the reason why am saying this is because of my request. We want to give birth to our child in U.S and my EDD is December but we havent done the visa yet.

So we want to use Ghana U.S embassy and i will like to know if the question asked in Nigeria U.S embassy is the same and if the document requisition will also be the same .

Thank you for your response

There is no way to know that really but with the nature of your job you should be fine, i guess this is where note verbale becomes very useful.

@All,

Below is a little experiment for the true hustlers:

For same Depart and Return Dates.....

Emirates Airline: LOS - JFK = N1,200,000.00

Emirates Airline: ACC - JFK = N580,000.00

Meanwhile in other NEWS!

ARIK Airline: LOS - ACC = N78,500

GIG Bus: JIBOWU - GH Park = N25,000

Leg Is Faster Than Bus: Seme Border - GH Park = FREE grin grin

Save your money...fly, bus or trek to Ghana, and fly via ACC to your destination.

Was about giving same suggestion for those that can hustle like moi. Dh booked my ticket on tuesday tru a friend in ghana for 468k, 10:30hrz flight with delta airline. So I"ll book lagos to ghana hopefully for 50k then port from there. So in all we shudnt be spending more than 530k for the whole package. Anywayz goodluc to us all. Av got less than 8weeks to move.

Same thing with travelstart, charged 138k to move ticket date forward, they r so rude, no ones knocking anyones hustle, we r being frank here.
Despite paying for the extra service of recieving partial refund if i decide to cancel a leg. They didnt still give me.
So why was there an option for that, it should have been deactivated since they know they wont refund. Worse part is they are to saucy to apologise . Hisss they are all the same. I have been buying my tickets directly ever since and i have no regrets whatsoever, the small difference pays in the long run when u need to change, add infant or get a refund.

quote author=chloe7 post=46809561]wakanow once gave me 165k to change dates, I laugh tire later they called and said they've seen 150k for the same dates, later again they said 105k, even fresh ticket was 150k just imagine, they are all same abeg[/quote]

I totally agree with you, particularly on the bold text. I used wakanow to book my ticket to Houston to avoid having to crack my brain about currency conversion since KLM quoted in dollars. Because of plp' negative experiences with them, I called yesterday to find out about adding infant to my ticket and the lady that took my call after several minutes told me outrightly that I'll have to call the airline directly. Meanwhile, you it's difficult make changes directly on your ticket if you used an agent. I had to ask her what the point of using them is if they can't help with simple changes and ended up telling her that 'my friends were right after all'

After this experience, I'll NEVER use them again. I'll deal directly with the airlines. They just lost about 5 customers (all my family members, including mum, husband, mum in law, son etc) for their non helpful attitude.

Ticket prices on KLM and Airfrance website which were quoted at 6.7k dollars return trip in August to LA on Monday have now stabilised back to about 2.5k. Exchange rate is 283 as at yesterday. I was able to book a ticket on hold for 2.4k. Thats about 690k naira.
In the circumstances, thats better than the 2 million naira ticket I saw on Monday. I may have to manage it o...

Keep checking regularly BY YOURSELF. Dont use agents. It may come down.
Cheers.

Part 4 of this thread hmmm
I travelled early in the month to NYC and went in thru Newark ( EWR) - I hadnt heard anything negative about them though. I was armed with all my receipts ,xero balance gbo gbo eh, fully ready, the guy was just confused anyhow, asking how come we have a nigerian passport and a child with blue pali ( in my head im like really!! ) we sha explained that we gave birth to her here last year - the guy was clearly confused, he asked again if we were permanent residents, I was like no, after asking where we worked he sha stamped us in and said welcome back enjoy your stay, no documents checked ..IS that POE lenient like JFK or i just met the right person... grin grin grin

thats how i was bored last week and i thought to check out some newyork hospitals prices since boredom wanted to kill me in atlanta on my 1st missionary journey, hahahaha - the three i saw shocked shocked shocked no go area, chai the quest for cheaper hospitals continues...

Hey dear,
I am due next month using Dr Xydas wanted to know more about the healthy baby package cause Shelly told me about it. Again how long before you can get zero balance from the hospital can you get it when leaving the hospital or soon after that. About birth certificate I heard you can get it after 24 hours of birth is that true.
Thanks.

when u go to dia office dey will give the paper for healthy baby package u see d amount and d terms and condition(still on d highside though compared to oda hospital). It was sent to my mailbox on records like 2weeks after I was discharged. As regards d BC u will get d one from hospital but d real one is to be gotten from d birth/ death record office well its possible as long as d hospital confirm s dat d baby's record has been sent.

No dear! They are just very strict with all their policies so you need to b aware of what their policies are to avoid telling emotional stories.

Hi.

So you are saying me and LO don enter trouble. I actually bought United Airline but We learnt they are moving us to Lufthansa cos they are stopping by Jume 30.

What of their luggage allowance for LO is it 23kg or 46kg. I really need to know.

Please assist

quote author=jinglesbaby post=46689795]Try flying Lufthansa, then you will know what strict really is. Flew them a second time and they told me that my hand luggage was too big for their 'danfo-bus-type-waste-basket' specification. They refused to check me in! 30mins to departure, I found a cleaner with transparent bin bag after running around the airport looking for an alternative. I emptied the suitcase (with all my underwear)into the transparent bin-bag (imagine the stares I got from pple around!) and squeezed it into their 'basket scale for hand luggage' before they checked me in. I had barely left the check-in desk when I heard my name being announced to hurry up to the gate cos the gate was about to close! My dear, I carried my bin-bag on my head like those 'agege bread hawkers' and started running to the gate o!
Thank goodness I made it! Infact, I was the last to board the plane. Supervisor at the boarding gate had to beg security to just let me get on because she saw that they wanted to start harassing me about my bin bag not meeting the specs again!

For the return leg, I wanted to change the date but Lufthansa said it was non-flexible and even non-refundable! I had to fly Emirates which was absolutely superb to and fro! I travelled on the double-decker plane from DXB to my destination and back to DXB!
NEVER PATRONISING LUFTHANSA AGAIN! NEVER AND I WOULD NOT ENCOURAGE MY ENEMY TO EVEN PATRONISE THEM!

I asked for extra food on the Frankfurt to LOS leg to make up for the early am trouble. Apart from the extra food, another good thing is the short travelling time.

Absolutely agree at d highlighted.

So i flew AF and was lamenting at d 10kg baby check-in lugagge but alas on d day of my trip: Grace! Not only was my baby luggage extremely overweight and checked in free, I was also able to pay a much cheaper ticket fare for baby at d airport than I had alrdy attempted to pay with card over the phone.

Sometimes we need to worry less and trust God more. His ways are not ours.
