Oh what a life.

An educated middle aged man died in penury, living in a single room with no family members to claim him.

In another society he would have had a fairly comfortable life.

Oh Naija!

Every society have their dregs, homeless, starving, lonely etc Very few countries have enough welfare to care for such.

What's 'akudaya?'. I love how you always write in Yoruba, btw.
Akudaya means reincarnation...... I'm thinking it may be true because no matter how angry you are with your family, you will still let people know u have a family somewhere.I think d man is an Akudaya

So what was he then? A roving spirit?

This man obviously cut off all ties with his family and most likely took on a new identity because he didn't want to be traced - for reasons best known to him.

I think you should respect his wishes and leave well alone.
My sentiments exactly.
No documents that made him a human being? How presumptuous.

No one really knows his story. I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions that he cut off all ties. All I can say is I hope his soul is at peace.

Smh for Nigeria. No autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of his death. Even if his death was an homicide, no investigation will be carried out.

Yes that is the sad and pathetic country they handed over to us and that we are planning to hand over to the next generation.

That's the thing, Nigeria is a country where people die with no follow up of cause of death. Generations have to face all these for decades to come, these are the consequences of greedy running through the political class.

Bros(es)...as pathetic as dis case is...dnt let us shy away from Nigerian reality..coz una both comments nearly cracked me up on such a sensitive issue..
Chey na gov't wey neva gree pay salary go fund autopsy investigation on a "we dnt even knw" individual?..

And if they ask u, u would probably attest to being a muslim or christian, and yet believe in akudaya!! I keep saying most of African christians and muslims dont really understand what they practice, only few.
