Who told you guys palm oil has no nutritional value? It a good source of vitamin A. It is rich in good cholesterol but watch for bad cholesterol as well, so in moderation. Palm oil has no need for hydrogenation needed to make butter and many food you buy solid because palm oil can stay naturally solid. Palm oil is used in many world food you consume for that purpose. So it also has economic value for such countries as Indonesia that has surpass Nigeria in production and as export, even to Nigeria where they got it from.
just help me tell uncle chukazu. You don't like palm oil doesn't mean that people shouldn't use it.

Good attempt smiley

It does look like you let your vegetable stay in the heat too long. Your leaf is too dark and probably softer than it should be right now.
No longer than a minute once it goes into the pot next time.

Well done smiley

This is 2016. This foods are disastrous to health. Its a no no. Mind you, the Yoruba's that eat this take lots of agbo / herbs daily. These herbs kill off some unwanted things in the body system.
i dont take agbo but i eat lots of vegetables too. Infact i eat a lot of uncooked spinach.

The only food that is 100% healthy is raw vegetable. The moment you add any type of oil whether corn, sunflower, carnola, palm, olive e.t.c it becomes unhealthy.

That is what i ate last night before going to bed, spicy peppered chicken with fries. It's unhealthy but i can't resist yummy food. tongue

That's true but I also think the soup needed some more oil. It may not be of any additional nutritional value but it makes it look more yummy. For most food, the outward appearance matters much.

like I said, its a mindset issue.
because you have grown up been used to such.
in the middle east, they make use of Olive oil which far more medicinal, nutritional and therapeutic(but tasteless in my tongue)

if you can retrain your mind to cook without palm oil, you become healthier

It true that there are things we eat without nutritional value, again palm oil is not one of those as I pointed out earlier. Palm oil has nutritional, medicinal and economic values. Everything must be in moderation. Some cities around the world has declared sugar as poison, yet there are very few food without sugar. We know stock fish has no national value even in the native countries but we enjoy it in Nigeria. Cassava bread has more nutritional value than fine white bread that cause diabetes like sugar, yet Nigerians insist on white bread.

The almighty ponmo nko.lol
If people see where ponmo ijebu is being produced, alot of us would stop eating ponmo or throw-up when we see one in our meal.
it's a miracle that people dont fall sick with diarrhea after consuming ponmo.
