In other news, finally mustered strength to start my daily walks of at least an hr every evening. ...was supposed to start since Tuesday but na so rain go dey fall once I chop dinner Finnish. Today ,it did same but the showers were light, I defied it and went out. So forward I marched , briskly and gladly. Was able to get to my target destination and made a turn around to head home. Naso i felt this sharp pain in where seems to be my VJ. Chai....to waka back home become wahala o ooo. I dey find who to go back me home . I begin dey reason who send me o ooo....
I just dragged my legs slowly and steadily till I managed home. Immediately I got home, just grabbed the next available seat before I fall...
Walking continues tomorrow ooo....by fire by force...

Olamitie, its undastandable the way ur hubby is taking this pregnancy. Dont hold it against him. Rem u were like that too when u got ds bfp. God will perfect this one by His grace. Pls hope u are already on progesterone (& other things that may help keep ds one) . Tk cr and keep up ur hope & joy.

The mama that was contemplating leaving her hubby, mamas have said it all.Cool off first. Then have a go at making it work again. Try and try again. Also pray hard. Let ur conscience be clear that u hv tried ur best to make it work. Pls if u know u are planning to make ur hubby come and beg u b4 u return to his house, think again o. If he is the type that does not believe in pursuing his wife to wherever she ran to inorder to beg and bring her bk, go back by urself after u rest o. Except u dont want again.

A woman was persuaded by her parents to come home and rest. They all waited for her hubby to come n beg. The man never went till today. He later re-married years later. Some men are like that. Esp if they believe they have not done u that much ill to warrant leaving them.

You need to take things easy over the next few weeks. If possible, strict bed rest.

Stay off sex or anything that can result in orgasm. Anything that can induce labour/contractions please avoid.

I do not think there's anything major can be done regarding your baby's size apart from cutting down on carbohydrates. Go for meals made using potatoes, plantain and not "complex carbs" like eba, etc.

I also think you should go for weekly scans/checkup with your doctor. If possible, twice a week. There are barely 5 weeks left to the end of August, so you need constant monitoring.

Pay close attention to your baby's movements. If you think his movements are reduced, please go to the hospital ASAP.

Don't mind me, I was prescribed the extra folic 5mg in addition to the 400mcg of pregnacare due to my weight and to prevent miscarriage and I was also at risks of having a baby with NTDs. Totally forgot that individual cases do differ and that pregnatone already contains the normal 400mcg for regular women.

Keep it up, don't give up. It's usually like that when you start but with time your body will get use to it and it will become shikini thing for you. I used to walk more than 2.5miles some days when I was preggy, infact, walk was nothing for me cos I & DH na walkaholic.
These days, I walk up to 4miles almost daily cos I MUST loose all this breastfeeding Abi na wetin fat that I incurred
