Well i am or should i say used to be.
Buh frying n all aggreviates it.
Never had an episode during this pregnancy maybe cause i aviod the triggers.

Just work with your doctors... and aviod crowded place.
If u r dizzy check ur pcv.

Please I have a question, this colic in babies, is there any thing that can be given to reduce the pains and my LO is suffering from it and the way she does, u wil know it really painful for her.

Please any body with remedy or what can be done, should please answer me, don't jump and pass.

Colic can be managed by the following :

Ensure baby burps after all meals

Massage the tummy with a heated towel as often as possible

Let baby have occasional supervised tummy time is place baby on tummy for brief period

Also bicycle exercise lay baby on the back and move the legs in a cycling motion

You should also avoid overly spiced meals , dairy products and beans for now

Though, during my two previous pregnancies i do have implantation bleeding but during the last one years back, i bled at 7 months and lost the baby. This present one i didn't experience any implantation bleeding. That's why am confused.

I used infacol for 3 weeks and that was it. Infacol doesn't cure it but reduces the pain to a minimal extent. I gave my ds 0.5ml before each feed.
Pls if u are taking this route, buy from a trusted pharmacy. Price is btw 2,500- 2,700.

Chei because of rush rush, I forgot to ask the name of the injection I was given today o. The doctor said I'm going to take it for 6 weeks. Does any1 have idea of such injection given for 6 weeks? once every week. He also gave me routine drugs. Gelovit and folic acid

I took mine for 8weeks it contains Vit B ferrous and some tin else I can't remember now. Congrats on ur BFP

Hmmm, check dat weight again and be double sure. 12kg is an ideal weight for 2yrs old children, then imagine ur infant of 11wks!

On Sunday I started having contractions every five minutes, but ignored it because I had been having such. I later told hubby to take me to the hospital for check up to avoid stories.

On reaching the clinic I was told I was 2 cm dilated. They admitted me and ordered my lunch immediately. They assumed since it was a second born it shouldn't take long. I continued to have bearable contractions. But when I was checked I was 4 cm. From there it stopped. But I continued to dilate. By 9 pm I was at 6cm. The nurse hinted that the baby was posterior. Hence the slow labour.

Dr came and put up oxytosin to help me progress. It failed. I remained at 6 cm till the next morning. Baby did not rotate as expected. My gynea eventually advised we go to the Theater, I agreed. Hubby also assured me I will be fine.

I was taken to the theater, I had spinal injections and was awake during the surgery. I busted into tears when my baby was brought out crying. The pediatrician on standby brought him to me and asked if it was a boy or girl. I said boy.

Then he took him away. Three doctors were with me, the anasthecist, the gynea and peadatrictian.

Although I did not envision a CS. But I learn complications can occur even after a VB so Pls be open minded. Trust God and put that baby at the fore of your thoughts.

Also recovery depends on you. Start moving as soon as possible, I was discharged yesterday even though I delivered on Monday. I did not just lie there, I stood up that day next day I was moving.

In all I give glory to God and thank you all for the support. You all are special. I love you.

Woke up this morning feeling weak and almost crying for no reason.

Mamas is this one too part of the package?? I haven't had this surge of plenty emotions in a while. I've always been a strong person, but between last night and this morning...I feel like someone else

Are you sure that weight is accurate? 12 kg for a 3month old is rather on the large side my 9month old is 11kg o! A baby should add 1kg monthly and if diamond was born at say 4kg he should be about 6-7 kg by now. Teething can start that early but a tooth may not come now till he is 6-7month old so no cause for worry on that part, try and help him go through it by giving refrigerated teething rings to chew on it helps cool the gum. You may also experience some rashes around his mouth due to the excess saliva dripping out! Always have a wash cloth handy to wipe away the drool.
