I don't understand the massage but I think she should stop, especially since she v done the massage for sometime now, that one don do. Am not sure but I think you said something about not being sure if you were circum, if she did same with you, then I think she shouldn't do same for your daughter, you get?
And I learnt from TV from someone that was circumcised and is fighting against FGM that there are different ways of FGM, the one dey keep massaging the place with hand until it becomes almost invisible or too down/small, I believe you don't want that for your baby.
I and my mum didn't do any thing special for my girls, I remember running warm water on that area few times while bathing her.

Chizeal pls and pls ur dd doesnt need any massage in that area. no special attention needed. just wash that place normally. the way God made it is just perfect!

So I finally decided to register for ANC today. The hospital gave me one long list like that but that one no bother me. I was told that they don't reveal the sex of the baby to the mother. Reasons being that it is a catholic hospital and some mothers will decide to do what they feel like doing if it's not their preferred choice. I look the nurse finish and told her that when the time comes we will know

Wow. I've learned new thing today oo. So they can do FGM with hand too? Interesting! That's how something led to talk of circumcision and MIL said it's not good if they don't circumcise girl children, that it has side effect and that I must circumcised my unborn girl children.
