Your ties to prove that you would return home were not strong enough to convince the visa officer.

About my intended date of travel I made a mistake, I picked an earlier date prior to my interview date. LagosNiv told me to xplain to the V.O which I tried doing.Lady G that was the only abnormality in my ds160 which isn't a big error compared to making a mistake with names. Lady G is well ooo.i really felt bad, have been there since 7:00

Oga, error na error...big or small. Picking earlier date in itself shows abnormality in your travel plans which rubbed on your DS-160. Well, there's always a next time. Improve on your ties...Goodluck.

Virgin P or not, the koko is your ties back home. What do you do? Your status, your earnings? Travel history on its own is not a ground for rejection .

Virgin passport is never a disadvantage... if your ties are strong why not... Most ppl from my office got the U.S visa on virgin passport.

I experienced this a couple of times myself.

Once the login and the DS 160 form page times out, refresh the browser before attempting to re-log in.

If not, you'll be going round in circles.

A simple hack to "not allowing" the page time out is to save in an interval of say 3mins. Whether you're done or not.

Why not try other countries? You seem bent on the US. Whatever it is you want in the US can wait. Visit other places, work on your ties then when you are set you can refire.

Give me examples of places that u know thier visas isn't dat much of a stress nd pls "places that count"

It has been suggested here. Places like Paris, France. Dublin, Ireland. Any of the Shengen countries. South Korea visa is also cheap and easy to get. I believe this places 'count'.

Why do you wanna travel? I've seen a situation where someone was denied in February and got the visa end of March same year.

My suggestion as always and as a frequent traveller.
Stop using 'will I have issues' as a yardstick. If your wife will stay longer than 2 weeks , let her say so if asked. It is not a crime as long as she's stamped in for that duration or longer.
Where one gets issues is where u declare one thing and do another and start changing tickets.
Or where u say two weeks and they see a 4 week ticket
