God will continue to bless you sir. You were a true democrat that respected everyones opinion even when your person and office was under attack by some hypocrites but what we have today is a tyrant, who is both dull and illiterate. The re.tard keeps arresting and intimidating anybody or group that criticizes him! Posterity is already judging you well as you have been soaring like the eagle despite calculated attacks and blackmail to tarnish your image. WE LOVE YOU SIR!!!

u tink western countries ar zombies like d rest of nigerians who believe buari is fighting corruption they know a despotic president wen they see one.
civilized countries all ova d world fight corruption silently by putting mechanism in place by way of legislation to open up d system through ICT for public scrutiny which makes it hard to commit acts of corruption, while ur buari is busy attacking members of opposition for rumors of corruption with impunity n gross violation of rule of law. buari is not fighting any corruption, just persecuting his political enemies.
talking corruption, d most corrupt region in d whole of nigeria is d north. let buari start from there if he's sincere about fighting corruption

I feel like insulting u, because u no wan wise....I dnt understand how pple like u think.....u want to fight corruption by putting mechanism in place by way of legislation to mke it difficult to fight corruption.

I bet u didn't think tht by urself, u heard someone say it nd u just carried it.

U compare Nigeria with other countries.... There u get it wrong.

Nigeria is ranked as one of the most corrupt countries n d world, it means d system is corrupt, so if ders corruption n d executive, d legislature n d judiciary, who wud put d legislation in place.

The president can't put legislation in place by himself, this democracy, those to make d law to fight corruption isn't d president, its d national assembly. So wen u have a Nass n judiciary thts d most corrupt institutions of govt how do u go forward.

I'm taking my time to explain to u because I weep wen I read comments like this, I just wonder n weep for this country, I wonder did u even go to school, because I expect there r some things u ought to know now, u dnt just come out n mke unintelligent comments.

So enlighten urself, because ur case ehn

Your deliberate ignorance is disgusting. You shouldn't be posting on this board cos you are a very dishonest fellow.

If you had ignored maybe you wouldn't have embarrassed yourself here.

Here we go again... It's quite amusing how ignorance accuses others of ignorance. You claimed Danfulani was arrested and not released didnt you?.... But its on record that he was arrested in January 2016 and released within a week. WHat do you have to say about that?

Okay from your post above, apparently he's been arrested again last week (10 months later) and definitely would be released again. Would be nice if in your infinite wisdom, you explain to poor ol' ignorant me, what you meant by you initial inference that people were arrested and never released?. ... or how exactly did you come to this conclusion that a man who was arrested last week wouldnt be released?

By the way, Danfulani's is a case between the man and el rufai, so what exactly has that got to do with buhari or jonathan?

News: LEADERSHIP Newspaper, Detained Journalists Released, Lambast Nigeria Police

LEADERSHIP, the Nigerian newspaper four of whose journalists were detained this week on the orders of President Goodluck Jonathan, has indicated it will challenge the infraction on its rights.

“The police have no right to arrest and illegally
detain our journalists – or any other journalist –
as they have done; we shall not let this violation
go unchallenged,” the management of the
company said in a press statement in in which it
announced that the journalists have been let go.

It said that two of the journalists, Tony
Amokeodo and Chibuzo Ukaibe, were only released conditionally, to report at the police headquarters at 10am every day.

“We wish to restate that these conditions are
obnoxious and unacceptable in any democratic
society,” the statement stressed.

Quotes from Goodluck Ebele Jonathan ' speech at Nigerian Lawyers Association in the USA Annual Gala Dinner

"Diversity could remain a strength only when all interest groups in the society feel safe and secured"

No matter what my critic said about me, I ensured thet there was both freedom of speech and freedom after the speech

Under my watch not a single Nigerian was sent to prison because of anything they wrote or said about me or the Administration that I headedNigeria had neither political prisoners nor political exile under my Administration.

This administration may not like these statements.

As a former president with a lot of corruption allegations against him, I believe he should be careful of what he says

It's because of the way Nigeria is, if not he should probably be answering some questions by now

He was indicted by NOI, Obanikoro, and a host of others

They all said he authorized them to carry out all what they did and he's not addressing any of these allegations but can come out to say something like this.

He's always been a careless talker anyways

Jonathan was a complete waste of time. Of course people were very free during your era... Free to steal and embezzle public funds amongst others. How I wish this idiot won the election then I'll see what money he'll use to run the economy after all d ones he stole for campaign. Crazy old drunk!
Useless man on black. Even his local govt in his state remains under developed.

Governor Nyako was impeached and arrested under Jonathan because he criticized his government, governor Ameachi was practically removed from government house, his security details were called back, rivers state private jet was grounded by security agents, Sanusi Lamido was removed from office before his tenure elapsed because he raised alarm about missing money from the countrt's treasury. Mr GEJ please respect yourself, just keep quiet so that Nigerians can forget about you with time.

many nigerians don't know dat northern born to rule extremist hate democratic system of govt. feudalism, dictatorship n authorianism is their mode of governance as can be seen in islamic countries of d world. none of dem is democratic in d real sence of d word.
dat is why they ar sponsoring systematic attack against d national assembly for its elimination. all dis jibrin/budget padding scandal is never about corruption. just part of their script to incite nigerians against nass to pave way for full blown authoritarianism.
and what has the democracy under your hero helped you archive? someone rightly said, democracy is a system of government where the smart people extort the dumb ones and comments like yours make me believe him. #Bleep democracy because it's full of promises without result.

The Ineffectual Buffoon is seriously pained that his fellow thieves are being held to account for their deeds.

Jona, not only that you were not fit to be president, you were a disaster, a complete one.

If you were fit to be president, the man who vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable for you should have been picked up and seriously drilled by DSS, especially with the spate of bombings that followed that promise.

If you were competent to be president, those who fooled you to approve just anything and everything in return for their support would not have been able to do that.

What a waste of presidency!

That happened under your said watch because your eyes were blinded by the following things my dear ex-presido:
-Your deep and profound cluelessness which was obviously noticeable during the various cases of clear korokoro daylight corruption involving your cronies that you waved aside.
-That Ogogoro, Sapele water, vodka, whiskey, champagne and other strong drinks that drive u to a state of stupor after serious consumption. How could you even look at the news headlines or what Nigerians were facing in such a State?
-Mama piss who was causing one problem or the other which clearly showed that you couldn't even manage your Wife in the first place. How could u manage an ordinary LGA, not to talk of Nigeria.
-Your numerous concubines that u gave free hands to rob us blind and blind again even u inclusive to the extent that your couldn't tell the difference between corruption and stealing anymore.

Need I say more reasons why you couldn't jail anyone during your reign?

In summary, you are the weakest of them all, even your gentle demeanour tells it all - scared Tom. Afraid of taking the bull by the horn. Even the sick president we had was stronger than you were.
Myopic thinking

Get your facts straight. Buhari never said he would make Nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan. That distinction goes to Lawal Kaita, former Governor of old Kaduna state who actually happens to be a PDP member
