Is this a Biology class or something else shocked - funny! It is also like an autopsy - weighing the vital organs and looking into the gizzard and all that...

You are indeed being scientific about your experience but this is good advertisement for you - it would be if you were selling online or supplying to good supermarkets.

There are programmes like this in the UK -trying to connect people to where their food comes from. Organic food items are more expensive and desirable to more and more people that can afford them and those that are fed up of the chemically induced food...

I really like your style - even the cooking is not deep fried as most nja people like to cook chicken. kiss

You are so meticulous!

@Organic. ... not interested in raising chickens... but this thread was sooo interesting and educative. The others that ehmmm..... came out of the woodwork to share their knowledge and experiences is what made this thread so much more than what you set out to do. Even you sef never knew about Noilers and are now interested!..did I know?..hell no!..was wondering why on earth they kept misspelling broilers! I have been sharing the knowledge I've gathered here with a few people I know that rear chickens. This thread is wayyyy more far reaching that you ever imagined...so inspiring. .. and has already encouraged others to follow in your footsteps.
To those who don't know...organic is the way to go.... if your meat or fruits is organic... the price doesn't matter... organic foods are wayyy more expensive than non organic foods and is in great demand.... demand is more than supply.
The one bad thing about this thread... in fact the one terrible thing about this thread... is the op let us watch these chicks grow and in the end .... he killed just one.. cooked it in front of our eyes and shove the bowl of stew in our face while we sit helplessly salivating while stretching our imagination on how juicy and tasty the meat is! Nawa 4 u!.... let me go get a mop to mop up my pool of drool.

That is coccidiosis. Organically, use either of these for four days or more

Bitter leaf and squeeze in water
Or Crush aloe Vera in water
Or Neem tree leaf (dongayaro) in water
Or blend pawpaw leaves and put in their feed daily

Hmmm.... this one I'll have to print out. We have natural cures for all this kind stuff just wasting away but the first thing we think of is to pay for expensive drugs that are not as effective. This thread deserves an award!

So far so good at 6weeks 5days ( You have all seen that it's extremely easy to produce broilers without synthetic drugs, Vaccines and drugs) Now let's focus on the profitability and the bottom line that counts most.

Highest weight: 2315g
Lowest weight: 1231g
Average weight: 1809g
Total weight: 86827g
