I give her whatever she wants to eat as long as its healthy and appropriate.
She is also a little human, she has taste and preferences.....
Maybe she is tired of all those meals. You can revisit them after about a week. Soup also matters; Atinuke will eat amala very well if fish is swimming in the ewedu....give her a fishless one and watch her spit it out.
Rice and butter,....yes, rice and pepperless tomato stew....no, rice and chicken gravy sauce (pepperless)....sometimes yes,sometimes no...
That is just how she is......

For now, try to find new foods she can accept.

Mama, as for me i woundnt ask to use postinor 2. Rather use the 'uda water". I learnt dat from this thread and dats wat i av been using

There is no sure way but have you tried:
1. Talking about why we need food. You could tell him he would stop growing if he doesnt eat his food ...... " do you want to be the boy that syopped growing?" So better eat your food.
Another trick is Santa's list.
Santas list only has names of boys who love to eat. You need to reward with a nice gift at christmas if he complies.
The talk has to come way before the food....

2. Encourage....while feeding him, watch his favorite cartoon, if he accepts keep on watching, if he refuses switch it off and tell him he can only watch TV if he eats his meal.
Put the cup of tea beside him and tell him he can only drink out of it after a bite from his food.

3. Just go gangster on him,,,,,.you must eat by force.

Have you asked why he doesnt like it? Maybe cos of pepper o.

Gosh I wish I remembered. I think you should mix formula according to how you normally mix (ie one scoop for 30ml of water) first, make the formula and then add cereal. Use your eyes to judge if the cereal is too thick or too runny. There should be instructions at the back of the can of cereal.

2. Catarrh can be as a result of common cold virus, irritation or allergy to dust, perfume etc. Not necessary a sign of underlying problem. Malaria and catarrh atimes go hand in hand.

Pls i'm not yet a mum, still a member of the preggie thread but due dis dec. I need some recommendations from experienced mamas here and hope i can be helped.
Almost done with my shopping but i havent got toiletries for lo. I initially planned using pure coconut oil and shea butter for his skin wit johnson soap but dh has refused. Says he wants his baby to smell nice and all that as he hates the smell of shea butter. Right nw, i'm at a loss on which product would be nice for lo's soap, cream, powder, hair oil etc. Pls i really need suggestions of a good product that wont cause him any reactions nd keep his skin supple.
Secondly, i need advice on daipers too. During shopping, i saw dis large molfix daipers mini , cnt recall how many inside but it goes for about 4k. Says it can be used from 0-6months. Pls is it a good choice to start with as per quality and size?

You might have to go with the instruction on the tin at first. Watch out for constipation, if it pops up reduce the cereal by one scoop.
