Hmm My first post here! thanks to my best friend that told me about this page.

I left Nigeria in 2014 and I was dating this Yoruba guy that my best friend hated with passion but she didnt know why but I was willing to make her see reason with why she should like him.

Since I left the country, I have been faithful to the dude. I usually told him about other guys asking me out. This dude would say, I should move on if I see someone better. this is someone that claims to love me. He never for once called me from 2014 till June 2016 I broke up with him. I did the calling! (oya insult me lol Sha that is mistake love).

Before I broke up with him, I asked him times without number if he was dating someone else and the dude would say NO!

To cut the long story short, the dude has been in a relationship all this while with a girl that he introduced to me while I was in the country as his family friend because she was always in the house when I went to see him. He was obviously a gold digger thinking I would get my Canadian paper and come back to Nigeria to marry him.

The most annoying of it all is wasting Jesus salvation by being a side chic for 2yrs! Jesus didnt die on the cross for me to be a side chic na. sad

This is a guy I dated truthfully for 2 years! This is a guy I will send my money to while I was serving. He never took me out. WOOOW, will I forget the day I called his mother and she insulted me to stay away from the son. I was in shock while a woman I have never met will throw insults to a lady she has not met! I discussed the issue with this yoruba guy and he played deaf ears! Since I left the country I have turned down many guys because of this guy I knew perfectly had nothing to offer but I genuinely loved him and believed in his future. Although I was heart broken but ..... It is all fine

My parents have always told me a yoruba man will always end up with a yoruba woman in the house or outside the house which means either ways you will be replaced.
I have decided never to give a yoruba guy a chance in my life. #myopinion

. I am looking for good wife are above 25 yrs

I'm not part of the Ikwerres that deny being Igbo. Even our dialect is Igboid and we bear Igbo names. I myself prefer staying in Imo State when I travel east; I even schooled in one Saint Augustine Grammar School in Nkwerre for two years before coming back to Lagos. I might not be a fluent speaker of the language but there's nothing you'll tell me in Igbo that I won't understand. You guys shouldn't mix up or misunderstand my stance.

Mehn, I hate this tribal bullshit. It's boring and nauseating. You guys are stylishly bringing the filth from Politics Section to corrupt this place. We should be discussing love, prick and toto; not Igbo girls vs Yoruba men.
Me I don't hate any tribe or discriminate. My dick is big enough/good enough for every girl in Nigeria.

One love. undecided

Pic? And wats with ur pic? undecided
Look even if a yoruba man fall from heaven i stil will not date him or if im promised a private jet.

I made up my mind long ago.
My brothers heart was broken by a yoruba gal coz her mum told her to quit the relationship after my brother has proposed.

He nearly lost his senses coz of that incident.
I will neva date any yoruba man. Ur parents hate igbo men but u like us. Wat an irony?

What a cliché! Lemme tell u mine
During youth service ....I met Ada....a beauty...she was good, kind,a badass cook( she made me love Oha soup till date) n worships d ground am on...never asked for anything except my love......n we did love each other! God!!!! Love had meaning to me then! My mum capitulated after seeing a jewel like her..my mind was set on marriage after NYSC(we were both corpers)
Then I went to their house n all hell was let loose!
It started with my introduction.....when d dad learned am from d west..he stood up n said " young man..I like Ur face but no Yoruba man will take my ada away or I will curse her n kill myself'. ..nothing I said entered... Her mum tried too but Nada..he told me never to come to his house again......I persisted with r/ship but other relatives got to know n things got uglier...n d pressure on her was intense....We kept in touch n she took great risks to see me...but I could see with each visit her resistance breaking down under d intense pressure.. Always crying what should I do? I hated d world at DAT point... Eloping was out coz d dad had her watched...n when he learned she still called me..her phone was seized n she wasn't allowed to go out without serious escorts.... She left d country a week after NYSC....it was her mum who told me later just how hard it was to convince her to leave d country(dad said he would use his chi to curse her if she refused).she told me she knew her daughter loved me.....i just must let her go....
Ada called me a year later....n I would never forget how sad she sounded..she told me all she went thru.. D love hadnt waned..but has turned sour..
Ada called me two years later to tell me she married... U know what she named her first son...my real name (d Yoruba one).

I have been hurt too Toosie.....but I never hated Ur tribe coz of it.....I had other encounters with Igbo girls...one even saved my life.....n I learned that good n bad people are everywhere

Sorry about Ur brother! I know just how it feels when u lose someone u love!

But stop being bitter......if u want to be better!
