Honey, my question would be, how much is the lady earning? If it's 100k then they've got a household income of 200k. It's high time Nigerian women start talking about household income rather than only looking at what a man can bring to the table..

Anywayz, 100k would be extremely tough in lagos. Financial resources is extremely important in a marriage, it would get to a point that love alone wouldn't cut it.

Depends on what you guys value most and the type of wants you have.

Most ladies are now commenting why not if not so that they should be commended as wives material. The question should be if a lady could stay in a marriage of 100k?. Getting married to a man with that amount isn't the issue, we know out of desperation, circumstances, religious affiliation and family reasons many women will. I have never asked my husband to give me money to buy food stuff in the house. He can channel his money into other projects which will eventually benefit the family. I can't imagine waiting for my husband before I can feed myself and the kids. God forbid!
