Although superman is believed dead I think he will play a major role in the movie. Remember in the comics and animated series when darkseid manipulated Superman to take over the world? I think that's what he's going to do with Sstepphenwolf. Superman will be another baddie

Well, Thanos is a ripoff of Darkseid from comic history. This is not surprising though...
