Amen nwannem. Am not too experienced oh but I believe the baby still has some time to turn to cephalic so don't bug yourself too much. Secondly, i heard laying on your left might help him to move. What matters at the end is baby, mother and father alive with plenty money

Birth Story

BF and I have been trying to break my hymen unsuccessfully because it was just too painful so dude will just stop when I start screaming in pain. My mom was now taking care of me. At 37weeks and 5 days at about 11pm after my evening walks, I was sleeping and I started feeling liquid dripping down my thighs and I had no control over it. I ran to the bathroom and it wouldn’t stop so I figured It was my water because I had my show earlier in the day. I woke my sister and she woke my parents. I was taken to the hospital and I was placed on antibiotics because there was no sign of labour. The nurse wanted to do a VE and her hand couldn’t go through so I told her my hymen was still intact, a Dr was called he used something to open me up, that was when my mom believed my cock and bull story.

The next day no show of labour so it was agreed that I will be induced the following day at 38 weeks. Around 7 am I started getting cramps that was around my back and waist and my mom told me it was labour so she started rubbing my back at each contraction, I was determined not to scream so I will squat hold her hands and groan deeply until around some minutes to ten, i couldn’t take it anymore. My mom called a nurse to come check me and she said it was not time that we should relax. I threw my wrapper away and walked naked past the nurses from the ward to the labour room and tried getting on a bed and they followed me. One checked and I was fully dilated, I started shouting that I want to poopoo and they said I should go ahead and do it on the bed but it refused to come out. They said baby’s head was ready and I pushed three times and my boy came out screaming at exactly 10am. I checked to see he was not missing any body part, he was complete, tears rolled down my cheeks.

Time to get out the placenta came but we were only getting many clots of blood scattered instead of a whole placenta and I was told they have never seen anything like this and they were wondering how my baby stayed alive.
He’s 3 years and 7 months now. The smartest kid I know and he’s doing very well above his age mates. I look at him every day and I am grateful I have him. BF and I got married in Oct 2015.

Baby still has time to turn nau! I read somewhere that some doctors will only show concern at 38weeks if baby hasn't turned head down by then. Some said some babies turn head down during labour sef.

Hello all, How are we all doing....

nana228, I enjoy your story. The virgin pregnant woman. Its so interesting. Wishing the boy more strength and wisdom. May he make you happy all the days of your life. Amin. and all our los too.

I was discussing with a mama yesterday and she took her scan to all this alagbo(herbs / tradomedical centers). Only for them to tell her husband to go and bring 5k or so for them to turn the placenta from posterior to anterior. When they came to me, i started laughing and they were disturbed. After the laugh tire me, i now told them that posterior is even better compared to anterior. Na im i con turn medical lecturer to them for like 1 hour.

I dont know why someone will not know something and be scaring people off their illitracy. I had to let them know i even enjoyed my second pregnancy which was with posterior placenta than my first which was anterior.
So today, let us educate our FTM about PLACENTA most especially our second trimester mama.

Your placenta develops wherever the fertilised egg embeds in your uterus, after its journey along the fallopian tube. An anterior placenta means that your placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb).

During your anomaly scan (between 18 weeks and 20 weeks plus six days), the person doing the scan (the sonographer) will check to see where the placenta is lying. She'll write down its position in your ultrasound notes. The position will be described as one of the following:

anterior (on the front wall of your uterus)
posterior (on the back wall of your uterus)
fundal (on the top wall of your uterus)
right or left lateral (on the right or left side of your uterus)

These are all completely normal places for the placenta to implant and develop.

The only problem with an anterior placenta is if you are having your baby by caesarean section and the placenta is low. You may have a higher risk of bleeding, for two reasons:

The placenta may be lying just where the obstetrician needs to perform the cut to bring your baby out. The cut to your uterus may be made higher up than usual to reduce the risk of bleeding.

If the placenta is low, you will have an ultrasound scan to help your doctor to find the best position for the incision.

If you have had a caesarean before, the placenta may have grown over the site of your old scar. This can sometimes cause the placenta to grow into, and through, the wall of your uterus (placenta accreta). This is a rare condition, but it is more likely to happen if you've had a caesarean.

Ultrasound and MRI scans can help to diagnose this in good time, so that plans can be made for you to have a safe caesarean birth.

Remember, in the unlikely event there is a problem with bleeding, you'll be in the operating theatre, and can be treated immediately.

If the placenta is found to be low-lying at your anomaly scan, you will need another scan at between 32 weeks and 36 weeks. This will apply whether the placenta is at the front, back or side of your uterus. Usually, the placenta is carried upwards, as your uterus expands around your growing baby. If your placenta is low-lying towards the end of your pregnancy, it's called placenta praevia.

Having an anterior placenta may cushion your baby's movements, so it may take longer to first notice your baby's movements. You may also feel fewer movements in your second trimester than you would if the placenta was in a different position.

Hope teamApril are ready to go before we rearrange 2017 calender grin grin grin

#TeamAugust, How market na!!!!!
Safe delivery to us all.

According to my calculations oo (I stand to be corrected)

she got pregnant in November/December 2012
Had her Son in August/September 2013
Age 1 - August/September 2014
Age 2 - August/September 2015
Age 3 - August/September 2016
Age 4 - August/September 2017

But since we are still in March 2017, hence her son is 3 years and 7 months old. Shey you get?
Hope you understand now.

Please take her to a hospital or yet another lab, that result you posted is inconsistent no such thing as typhoid 4+ (you were attended to by quacks, that value doesn't exist anywhere in the world) and after thorough investigation, the Doctor would do the prescription so it could save not only your wife's life but other effects on the baby
