@ bolded, going by that logic...
All the stolen money recovered by EFCC were not stolen by the culprits ,
Because the people involved have not claimed it...
Same with people shouting Dezani Alison stole money, she has made her on admission on the matter, nd she denied it, so

Wike said he set up an inquiry committee, and it was found that the money belong to Rivers Government, from the sell of an Oil bloc to Sahara Energy by the then Governor Rotimi Amaechi....

In all seriousness, where is wike's proof?? Fine he set up a committee so fast after the money was announced, and the committee found out it's Rivers money, so where is the proof? Am sure they can publish the so called committee report. Becos in the pictures of the money have seen, I don't see a label that says "Rivers State Stolen Money" on them.

Lets try to be reasonable and let's not allow Politicians destroy this country.

Finally they have put their rope round their own neck in a bid to strangle the opposition.tongue

And that's exactly what happened.

Good one from you bro.

Isn't it surprising that days after the discovery a big anti graft agency like efcc can't tell us the real owner of the apartment. Somethi g that ordinarily would not take more than 24hrs

If it belonged to an opposition individuals would it be safe to say by now they would have been named and shamed. Clearly this catche of loot belongs to friendly members of the administration and hence the bending over backward to confuse and cover up the issue

It's a shame efcc has become so politicized

Even within family you buy property in another name just to protect yourself from family witches... we don't want to know who owns the money, let FG just use it to improve power supply simple.. anyone that is pained and claim to own it should come and and he or she must face the law. Why such a huge cash is not deposited in the banks.

I do not see the logic in your argument. The raid was carried out on wednesday and Wike's committee had been inaugurated, deliberated and concluded by Friday.
Moreover, is it the place of committees to investigate such issues or the police and law enforcement agencies?
If Wike knows Amaechi owns the money (I don't have any bias against this), he should come up with concrete evidence.
Let's be rational and separate partisan politics from reason.
How did you know that the investigation has not already been on..
If u read the article very well, u will see where Wike Said the have been saying that some millions of dollars weren't accounted for, from the sale of a gas turbines to Sahara Energy ..

Even if Wike brings a video of Amaechi stealing the money, people like you will say it was doctored or it came out very fast.
Believe me, I'm the least partisan person you know.
My party is my logical mind.

Yes, committees can investigate issues of corruption, even your president, set up a Committee on corruption headed by Prof. Sagay undecided so what are we talking about

EFCC would be baised in this case, the can't investigate against their own Government undecided

Barawo expecting to reap where he did not sow. Even it belongs to Rivers people, wike will re-loot it because all governors both past and present are kleptomaniacs. The money should be used by FG to put people's oriented projects in rural communities.

Nigerian politician with drama!

Ibori $15 bribe to Malam Ribadu was seized by the federal government and lodge in the Central Bank and the Delta state government is laying claim to the money.

Now, Ameachi $43 million naira being alleged that was found in Ikoyi and seized by EFCC and lodged in the Central Bank and the Rivers state government is laying claim to the money.

History seems to be repeating itself.

But why is Governor Ameachi keeping silence on all this allegation against him.

If this allegation is proven to be true, then Ameachi could be kicked out of the Buhari Administration and prosecuted for money laundering.

That huge amount can fix our epileptic power sector but one greedy rat kept that money all for himself probably waiting for 2019 to be used in contesting election.

He is keeping quiet so that he can tear a big hole in all dis allegations, first una say na muazu house, dat d md nnpc brings cash there, which the oocupants of that apartment have agreed to her sightints, d md quickly refuted d claims tru her lawyers and threatened to release sms from top govt officials(nobody see dis one discuss), then wike says its apc stunt, dat d cash aint real, den same wike says its amechis loot then lere says its amechi loots that he used to buy a floor for his babe......pls which is the truth
Has effcc made any official announcements abt the ownership?
Very soon we will hear that its sai baba loots from ptdf days

They knew EFCC won't be able to really name/nail Amaechi, then the other side of Magu will be seen by all Nigerians......for NASS, it is about killing two birds with one stone! grin grin grin grin

Why is the money in raw cash?

I do not give a hoot about who owns the money, the court should just give an order of permanent forfeiture to FG on May 5.

Bunch of everlasting and unrepentant criminals and looters.

May Sango strike any corruption supporting id10t with thunder. Some people are dying in the office just because they cannot pay 5k or due to lack of Oxygen and some demons in human skin are keeping millions of dollars locked in one empty house.

All of a sudden, certain people now believe money was truly discovered and was not stage managed, as soon as Amaechi's name came into the pix. lol.

Remember we are can't feed you for too long, read between the lines in Wike's words.

Niger Delta (Imo, Abia, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom), SS, SE money is not free for all.

We will make sure the North and Southwest are able to survive on Ondo oil wealth.

I'm from the SW and the oil in my LG alone is more than what you can dream of in your SE region. We don't see people from SS shouting about oil. It's you the parasitic SE people who can't remain in your region and develop it, without running to other parts of the country. Why must you always attach to the South South. Every Nigerian belongs to a single region and not two (SE and SS) as you're claiming..Delete SS and retain only your region SE from your copy and paste comment, and ask me the same question again. Shameless thing.

There is every iota of truth in what Wike is insinuating.
EFCC is so quick to dismissed the owner of the money claiming it belongs to Nigeria intelligence agency. Is this another form of money laundering in this administration.
Buhari always has an antecedents of defending his cronies in money laundering.
Leaders of tomorrow most of you like to play partisan politics, where did effc claimed that the money belong to nia.let them finish with their investigation then we can say what we like because most of these our utterances are sin without proper verification of matter at hand. undecided

I'm not surprised that this is happening. This government is a subterfuge from every indications. Why will NIA keep such amount of money in a house and not in a bank. One thing is clear here that this money belongs to an individual who must have siphoned it for its personal use.

Until Nigeria becomes a country where the people are ready to fight for their rights and also fight for the installation of justice and deprive injustice of a place in the society, the wishful thinking that Nigeria will implode into development remains a mirage. Nigeria is a conspiracy of the elites!!!
