Babies are the most efficient parasite in the world. They will take and siphon what they need from the mum. So sometimes it really doesnt matter what you do.

Genetics has a bigger role to play in the size of your baby than what you eat. At 20 weeks your baby is still developing. It is from 36 abi na 37 weeks that all they do is accumulate fat!


Just try and eat healthy, and anything fatty or sugary eat in moderation if you can or reduce the quantity (sometimes its hard to do as those cravings can derail all your good intentions.)

Never assume you are eating for two. I think they say is only 500 extra calories a pregnant woman actually needs (gist! Easier said than done!)

If you drink the milo every day, perhaps you can substitute it tea with honey and lemon or omit it every other day to cut down. Drink water instead or freshly squeezed orange juice.

I took alot of Lipton when I was pregnant and it was cos it helped me with nausea and vomiting that I experienced throughout the pregnancy. But I always added lots of milk.

Do everything in moderation. Eat healthy

Is Ori and coconut oil very essential in a baby's early life?
My MIL was like we would be using the Johnson baby kits for him, both d powder o, d cream o, d lotion o! na money we use buy am so we cant dump dem for Ori and coconut oil.

My main question is, shebi notin go happen if I use dox cream and lotion for his hair instead of the popular Ori and Coconut oil?

Dear mamas, I read somewhere that Playards aren't supposed to be used as baby's permanent bed. The ish here is my family moves around a lot. As it is now, I don't know when the next move might be and due to that I've been finding it hard deciding which to buy between the regular wooden Crib and a Playard. I'm considering a Playard because most of them are portable which means one could easily pack them up in a travel bag and go. On the other hand, I'm considering a wooden crib because I wouldn't want L.O to develop any problems from constantly sleeping in a Playard. My question now is has any mama ever used only Playard for their L.Os? if yes, for how long and how was it? did you have to get a special mattress for the Playard? will appreciate your response/s as I intend to do all necessary shopping this new week. Many thanks for having the patience to read through.
