waje couldn't mention me and my goons on this thread.

I was ban on that thread for listing towns in warri, I don't know how warri effect nairaland, seun please work on that.

I can see some borrowed urhobo words there, like uko and kokodie, also I noticed your numbering is almost same with Yoruba.

[Ejuma means tomoro in Itsekiri]

Also when in a gathering to acknowledge the presence of everybody one is expected to say the following

The response is
Ené jé (we accept)

2nd form of greeting in itsekiri is
Aja mo kiaghan (pronounced Aja mokian) it means i salute the community/village as Aja in Itsekiri means village/town/settlement

@bolded is itsekiri a dialect or a language.

the only benin influence I can see in itsekiri is the culture, apart from that I don't think itsekiri share anything with Benin again, was having a convoc with a guy about this and he said itsekiri migrated from Benin, but I was told itsekiri only adopted a beni prince.

You can as well list names of animals.

OAUTemitayo and other pro itsekiri on this forum I think this thread will be interesting to you.

cheers!!!

Too many loan words up there.
Poster, how many languages or dialects, as the case may be, does Itshekiri share lexicon with?

some words are borrowed from urhobo, They make use of "ts" why Yoruba make use of "sh" but I think they are pronounced same way, the itsekiri language is said to b same with the one spoken in ondo, I don't know how true this Is.

like oriste / orisha
tsola / shola
atuwatse / atuwashe

the op can list more for you, so learning it won't b difficult.
