for people calling game of thrones overhype or people who watched very few episodes thinking its overhyped are probably being caught up by jenifas diary that have no substance.just something you watch to relax.Not a movie that makes wait a year+ just to see an episode.you need to watch movies that are unpredictable,intriguing.movies you cant predict who dies next.Movies that move you(like the death of rob stark,his wife and mother).Need movies where at season 7,people watching have no clue on how the ending is going to be.etc and game of thrones is one of those movies

Like me, I prefer watching comic series like Big Bang theory, 2 broke girls, Scrubs, How I met your mother, Modern family, New girl, Shameless, Devious maids, Everybody hates Chris, 2 and half men, friends, last man on earth

I also love a little bit of action/thriller , and series like Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Empire, Lost, Nikita, Better call Saul, Blacklist, Blacklist redemption, 24, 24-Legacy, Lethal weapon, OZ, Blindspot, Power, How to get away with murder, Walking Dead etc does it for me..

On very rare occasions, I may want some bit of epic/mystery/Sci-fiction series, I watch Arrows, Game of Thrones, American gods, Gotham, person of interest, limitless

I hate to be biased but GOT is unarguably the best series of all time. I begin to wonder what went through the mind of the writer to come up with such a story that completely intrigues and encapsulate the mind of it's viewers.

I get bored easily with season films but I don't know what made me continue GOT till now.

Another series that does it for me is "How to get away with Murder". I don't want to start with that one. The writer is CRAZY.
