Nigerians will always abuse the rights given to them.
I grew up in the barracks in the north and I have more than two camouflage but I only put them on within the barrack.
Them no born me well to wear them outside the wall. (it's not that I am scared but I just have to respect myself)
Please let us know our limits.

so how is stripping her "court deciding" Is that a high court or a sharia court?
If the military are so sure of themselves why dont they test a few cases in court? Why go around beating and stripping people?

The other thing we must not forget is what is the ultimate penalty the court can give? It is ,I believe, a fine!

By the way Camouflage is not the uniform of the Nigerian Army. There are so many kinds of camouflage just as there are so many kinds of Green or Blue

We seem to have come to common agreement. She might be wrong. I now the military have the right to take an action to prevent a crime for continuing. If a soldier see me pointing a gone at u, he will be right to stop me from shooting you. You will not tell the soldier "please call the police to stop him". This is a criminal offence, not a civil offence. Necessity is on anybody to stop the crime from continuing. It is not compulsory for me to press charges. I can choose to let the offender go free or settle out of court. We all seem to be looking at this thing from one side. I do not interpret this action of taking off the dress as an abuse of her right so long as she did not go home nude (I might be wrong, we all have our judgments). Who knows whether she was given another clothes? Please barrister, help the people with good information. Except you have a personal prejudice against the military.

Let me be a lawyer for a minute. I can show you many girls that wear what is under there outside and do not feel naked. Beside this is not a civil case, this is a criminal offence. Necessity may be on the soldiers to act to stop that offence from continuing. What if a soldier saw me pointing a gun at you? Would you tell him to call the police or would you tell him to shoot me?

can a military man or woman dress the way she is to official duty, is she wearing their boot to indicate an attempt to impersonate a military personel?, do you know that a camouflage is just a design and not meant for only the military?

Nigerian soldiers reportedly forced a lady who wore a camouflage, to pull it off. According to those who witnessed the incident, it happened in the Northern part of Nigeria.
