I feel sorry for this country. There is no unity cos of injustice. Two things I witness that made me believe that kanu might be right in his demand for freedom from this force marriage. During the local govt election in lagos state, yours truly submitted application for the position presiding officer in one of the local govt area. To my greatest surprise I was not chosen cos I am not yoruba. The same thing goes on in various part of the country. A yoruba cannot get a job in igbo land as far as govt work is concern you are on your own. Right now npower is training the agric beneficiaries in collaboration with the local govt. Some lga has started but alimosho lga are busy playing politics with the training. They said they will need the support of various lcda that makes up alimosho lga before they can commerce the one month training . Infact the main alimosho which federal govt recognises is saying they re not sure the beneficiaries are from their own lcda. That each lcda has to train whoever that comes from their. The only time we are united is when Nigeria is playing football. For christ sake we ve to sit down and allow any region that wants to leave to peacefully go. We are not one. We re hausa, igbo, yoruba and others.

Many Nigerian youth today thinks that their rebellionic and hooliganistic perspective to national and personal issues can compare with the stark reality of what is presently happening, and how adversely it may affect their future.

If any war should break out in this country the youths and their future shall be severely affected.

Far from war is what we need now.
Let all presure groups in their immediate communities start a massive peaceful agitation on local government political votees including councillors, council chairmen, state house of assembly members and state governors.
Let us demand of them to put the allocations they receive monthly to projects that will make life easier for we the people and especially reduce price of food commodities.

As much as the labor unions are calling on the federal government to attend to all present agitation, we the people must make it a point of concern to ensure that our community political votees are put to check and made to account for allocations received on behalf of the states.

My dear, no geopolitical zone has ever had it as bad as the Igbos under any administration, ever since the return of democracy like we're having it under Buhari. He's the worst and most divisive leader Nigeria has ever had.

For the first time, a geopolitical zone was completely alienated in the major top defence posts. South East was alienated in all the security top jobs.
Now, just imagine the recent NNPC directors. No single person from the South East despite that we produce a little oil. North West that produces zero oil has over 6 positions.

Forget about formidable political calculations. The election could still have gone the other way. If not that Jonathan is a gentle man and didn't want shedding of the blood of innocent southerners in the north, he would have manipulated the entire electioneering process in his favour. The story would have been different today. Again, if the entire north had been like the south (and northerners weren't as blood thirsty as they are today), Jonathan would have been president today.

Stop talking about Yorubas making a good choice. Buhari is a very terrible choice. He's the worst president we've ever had, so I don't understand how his election appears to you as a good choice. Moreover, it was simply a 50:50 thing, so no biggie really.
